“Wonderful cabin with all you could need. Fantastic location to many many attractions activities, especially if you enjoy history. Cabin is so cozy and the decorations are real enjoyable and every where you look is something you didn't see before. Host was terrific to work with and helpul. Resetve a visit you will not regret it.”

“Weekend visit with three generations (ages 19 to 83), weather wasn't very cooperative for outdoor activities, but we very much enjoyed the screened porch (and designated extra blankets for outdoor seating) and ping pong. Kitchen is well-appointed, comfortable beds in bedrooms, spacious enough for people to gather together or find a quiet spot. Clear instructions, easy check-in/check-out...lovely home.”

“The tiny house is exactly as described. Its small, clean, cozy and comfortable. The location right on the river is fantastic. Being able to have a fire right by the water each night was such a plus. In better weather would be a great put in for canoeing, kataking. Very close many historic sights, unique shops, and outdoor activities. The hosts are very thoughtful, kind and responsive. We will be staying again!!”

“The cabin was impeccably clean and well-stocked. The view is incredible! The weather was cool and rainy so we didn’t utilize the decks or the fire pit. We were able to squeeze in some hot tub time which was exceptionally clean and relaxing. Bed was comfy. We definitely enjoyed our stay.”

“It was a group of 4 of us for my birthday. I wanted a place secluded from people and this was 100% the place! It literally had everything we needed all in one spot. Water, fishing, fire, hot tub, beautiful view, bird watching. We were lucky to not have anyone staying in the cabin directly next to the one we chose. I think that’s the only downfall with this place is that there is one other cabin only feet away from the one we stayed at. I also would have preferred two queen beds instead of one……

“This charming cabin in the woods is perfectly set up for a peaceful getaway. We had fire pits under charming string lights, with comfortable Adirondack chairs, walks through the neighborhood that seemed like we were in a nature park. Everything was available to ensure we had a great time for family with young adults and toddler, infant, and two little dogs who had their own fenced play area!”

“Stayed in Mountain Mama’s cabin for three nights with my brother to share some precious time. Our cabin far exceeded expectations…clean, well decorated, river views watching bald eagles fly by ….all excellent. Mountain Mama’s had excellent communication and accessibility..even their own app. All their houses look amazing. Will return again.”

“We really enjoyed the property. It was clean. Internet worked well. Washer and dryer was nice. Too cold to enjoy the hot tub for me. My suggestions are a new shower head, thank goodness I didn’t have to wash my hair. The flow is too spread out and not enough to efficiently rinse as you shower. Second is a cheaper Kcup machine would be nice. Traveling with ground coffee is not really ideal for a quick trip away. Third thing I suggest is two beach towels (minimum) for the use of the hot tub. “Beautiful property with lovely views! We saw a fox, deer, and geese. Nicely secluded, but still close to major cities and great base-camp for sightseeing in the area. Upstairs can get a bit warm, master bedroom mattress is very firm (some may not like that), and 3rd bedroom mattress was uncomfortable according to my college aged daughters. Overall fabulous stay. Owner communication was great too! My husband said he would buy the property if it came up for sale.”

“We came into town to see a show at Charles Town Casino. The location was perfect! We loved the view of the river. The home was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed a great dinner at Mi Dellagado and an excellent breakfast at the Mountain View Diner. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the area.”
