"The breakfast and dinner buffet were excellent. Many selections to choose from. Staff were friendly and helpful. Convenient laundry room. Hotel is clean but dated."
"The hotel was clean, with spacious rooms, great price. The breakfast was good, and the dinner was also decent. It is about a 25-minute bus ride from Quattro Canti, the main sightseeing area."
"Our stay at Villa Lampedusa Hotel & Residence was perfectly fine and actually better than we expected. We chose it because of its convenient location near the airport for the last night of a long trip, and it served that purpose well.
The room and bathroom were both spacious and generally clean, although the property could benefit from some updating. It has a lot of potential with a few renovations.
The entrance and parking area are a bit unusual. Parking is in a large dirt lot with little to no driving signage, which can be confusing when you first arrive. One highlight is the lively restaurant and event venue right next door, which had a great atmosphere during our stay.
Aside from that neighboring venue, there isn’t much within walking distance, so the area can feel somewhat isolated. The hotel does have a pleasant courtyard where the rooms open onto shared outdoor space with tables, lounge chairs, and umbrellas, making it a nice place to relax.
Breakfast is available in the reception area, where there are just a few small tables, but we weren’t able to try it because we had an early flight. We also got the impression that the property is not staffed around the clock. Other than during check-in, we didn’t see any staff members for the rest of our stay.
Overall, it’s a comfortable and practical choice for travelers looking for a convenient stay near the airport, with spacious accommodations and a few charming features despite needing some modernization."
