Easy checkin at the bar with delightful staff amd free welcome drink. Room was simple but sufficient, great shower. Only there for one night but great valet.
Great location—close to just about everything in Fayetteville—and the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming.
One thing to know: the front desk was often unattended or had a cheerful little “be back soon” sign. It seems the same team members are checking guests in, running food and tending the bar, so they’re clearly keeping busy.
The rooms are very small but cleverly designed and well appointed. Marriott clearly got creative with the square footage.
Also worth noting: the hotel sits right next to the train tracks. The trains are not subtle, so if you’re unfamiliar with the area, just be prepared for that.
What the Moxy may lack in luxury, it makes up for in personality. It’s got a fun, hipster vibe - think stylish crash pad meets social clubhouse.

The front desk staff is courteous. The decor in the lobby had a nice modern look, and honestly was a very inviting place to hang out. This could almost pass as a cool neighborhood bar. I enjoyed the location and being connected to so many great restaurants nearby. (be sure and check out farmers table and Hammontree’s). The room was clean and nice and incredibly small. I felt like two people were tripping over each other constantly, it’s a great place to shower and sleep, but pretty much nothing else. I got two free drinks at the bar, the choice of beer was less than desirable… Draft only. I ordered a separate cocktail and somehow I think $20 for a random old-fashioned is a little bit too high. The smaller rooms may serve a purpose, and people may find something relevant to their style or culture, but the price did not reflect the smaller room. I recommend you try it and see if it’s your thing, but I probably will stay there again.
Room was clean and new. Comfortable bed.
Valet parking only so be prepared, but they were helpful and fast.
Registration is also bartending so be prepared for a short wait if they are in the middle of an order.
Overall good stay

Great, affordable hotel and close to the university.
I already booked it for me next visit.
Staff was very friendly ( shout out to AJ) and considerate of my physical handicap . Entertainment Sat night was great . Bar and food prices were reasonable .Room was good but drawer space was very limited . Bathroom / shower was clean and adequate for single traveler but might be cramped for family of 4.overall pleased and I’d stay again if 1-2 travelers
Loved our stay at Moxy…from the drinks upon check in, to the readily available entertainment, this would be a great stay for individuals, couples, and families. Great location for anyone visiting the school too.
It's a great place if you want people to hear you use the bathroom with their barn doors separating your time on the toilet and people on the other side pretending they can't hear. (or smell)
Also, THERE IS NO FREE PARKING! They will essentially force you to use their valet or park far away. I'd recommend looking elsewhere for a place to stay.
My first day at the Moxy I went down to tell the front desk that my toilet knob was broke and I couldn't flush with it. They said they would fix it right away. They never came to fix it and so I sent down again on Saturday. They promised they would fix it ASAP. They still never came to my room so for Friday-Sunday, I had to stick my hand in the toilet tank to flush. Not ideal at all.
Very Clean room, kinda of tight quarters, small bathroom.

Water was terrible, I got a water from the bar and tasted horrible, the bar tender said it was fine and 10 minutes later after drinking my wife and I felt queasy and threw up
Great location with a nice walking/biking trail straight to downtown. The lobby/bar area is pretty fun and the bartenders are very nice. Got a good smoked old fashioned. The rooms are small, but that's the model--trading your closet space for a fun place to hang out. I'd say it's well worth it.
