“Wasnt clear how to check in, but rung in the morning and was advised to call to pub for room card. The room was very clean, and well presented. Can see they are looked after. Nice walk in shower with 2 separate heads. Plenty of storage for clothes etc. Bed was very comfortable and made for a great night sleep. The food served at the Pen Y Cae was amazing and all the staff we encountered throughout our stay were helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much bother for them. ”

“Simple self check in into a narrow hall way leading up some stairs to get to the rooms. This area was will lit and secure. The room itself was well equipped with fridge/freezer microwave kettle etc and fresh milk and bottled water was left in the fridge. Two wall mounted TV's with working remotes and cutlery and pots etc all available. Comfy bed with towels provided for the lovely bathroom with walk in shower. All in all everything you need for a short stay away.”

“What a lovely place to stay. Very nice garden and people. Very pretty part of town. Room was small but delightfully decorated and lovely view of garden. Had a bit of trouble working out the shower temp but eventually got it right! ”

“What a great find this was.... Originally I was looking for a nice hotel for the night as a little treat with my partner. Due to the Take That performing at Swansea.Com Stadium the same night. Hotel prices were sky high, nearly all had over doubled in price, some asking £400+. Than out of the blue I find this beauty..... Absolutely stunning views as far as the eye can see all round. Hot tub was amazing heated by a log burner. Comfortable seating area with a fire pit and bbq. The lake was massive……

“My family stayed in the property for over a month, while we explored Wales and visited some friends in the Swansea area. The small village up in the mountains was absolutely beautiful, and the check in process was simple with a lock box and independent arrival time. Lorna was responsive when we had questions and had reccomendations for exploring the area and restaurants.Anyone staying should plan on topping up the electric and gas immediately.
