“At arrival the room given to us was just beside the elevator. We asked to be changed there was no problem with the front desk but it took more than an hour to clean another room. We went for dîner and when we came back the room was ready and our luggage were already in the room. Nice place and nice service”

“Really need a better property that has working amenities like the gym and business center. Would highly recommend better breakfast options and not the same every day as i couldnt eat the steam hard eggs. Staff were all newer and confused when we asked about the area, but were still pretty friendly. Not for corporate stays needing business done for sure. Room was pretty clean but for sure run down, water ran slowly and some towels were older looking compare to the others. Beds werent too bad……

“Loved our room. Very comfy leather chairs. Bed was comfortable. Very close to Peggy’s Cove. Found an amazing restaurant just down the road in Hacketts Cove called the Finer Diner. We went there every night for dinner. The lobster Mac and cheese was delicious.”

“I appreciated that the owner let us check in early, and the coffee area and yogurt juice water are appreciated. My negatives: bed very uncomfortable with a terrible mattress, no insulation so sound from other guests very noisy, other guests talking until very late on the deck was very inconsiderate, we had to be up at 5 and they were up till well after midnight. I woke up with a sore stiff back and no sleep and quite grumpy (my husband not impressed at all). Also the bathroom sink is plugged.”

“Heritage buildings with a lot of character and skylights everywhere. Comfy bed, clean environment, excellent location. Bath rooms, carpeting and furniture (vintage and in need of refinish) could use a bit of facelift, but overall the buildings are cute. It seems that every room is unique. The location is excellent - two blocks from Pier 21 and close to Dalhousie. Can be noisy if you open the windows (but who doesn't love operable windows?). Free parking in the back of the hotel was a plus.”

“Great Value Stay with Spacious Rooms and Free Parking I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was large, two queen with a sofa bed, clean, and well-maintained – everything felt fresh and comfortable. The free parking and included breakfast were definite highlights, adding great value to the stay. Driving to the city centre was quick and easy, which made exploring very convenient. The hotel is located right next to a school, so the surrounding area is quiet, safe, and has a nice……
