We had a lovely stay, the cottage was nice and the aga fireplace was a beautiful touch. Although I couldn’t light it. It definitely could do with updating the garden furniture, beds, and bits and pieces. The bedding was good quality. The welcome pack was a great touch!

A fantastic cottage in a very nice village.
A fantastic cottage in a very nice village. The Cross Keys public house is only 50 yards away and has a great menu. The cottage was spotless with wine, chocolate mints and biscuits as a welcome from the owner James.
Everything there that could ever be needed for a holiday break. Very comfy beds, good quality pillows and quilts. Private road out the front so you can park right outside the front door. A great location for Beamish Museum, Durham city centre (take the park n ride) and the east coast beaches.
