"I was moving back to SoCal from Washington for a new job, exhausted from the drive and a little anxious about starting over, and Motel 6 in Thousand Oaks ended up feeling like my first “welcome home” instead of just a place to crash for the night. From the moment I checked in, Sara and Conor greeted me like they were genuinely happy I was there, not just another reservation in the system, and took the time to ask about my move and how the drive had been. Conor noticed how much stuff I had packed into my car and helped me figure out the easiest way to get everything to the room, checking in later to make sure I had what I needed and that the room was quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. Mindy rounded it out by treating every interaction whether it was a quick question at the front desk or grabbing a fresh set of towels: as if I were a long‑time regular, not a one‑night guest passing through. What really stood out was how the four of them together created a calm, friendly atmosphere at a time when everything in my life felt up in the air; they turned a basic motel stay into a moment where I could breathe, regroup, and actually feel excited about this next chapter. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what I needed, but it was their kindness, conversation, and genuine interest in my move that made it feel like more than just a hotel it felt like the first little piece of home on my way back to Southern California."

"Perfect for our family. The adults and kids had their own rooms AND bathrooms for relaxation and privacy. The pool was steps from our room. The location of the hotel was minutes from everything and everyone we were in town for. The only downsides, which are minor, were that both bathroom lights flickered and there sheet set for the pullout vouch did not include a co.forter. "

"Derek and Rene went out of their way to make our party comfortable. Derek set up the area around the outdoor fire pit, which was no easy task, as there were no cushions on the benches etc. We were in town for a funeral and Derek made our day so much nicer. He went the extra mile to accommodate our needs. Great job!!"
