"It was off season. Great rates! It would be nice to know there was no shuttle, and the beach areas weren’t maintained. The hotel and the staff were 5 Stars! They helped me get a car the next morning! Salerno is advertised as a great place to stay for the Amalfie coast visits. Salerno is not a place I would return to. The hotel is south, it’s peaceful, clean, and offers an amazing breakfast buffet! "

"The room was in great condition, clean, overlooking the gulf and across from Mount Vesuvius. The bathtub was heavenly, staff was friendly and spoke English well enough for us to converse. We booked here for the views and the idea that we would easily be able to get to the train station in Castellammare di Stabia via the offered shuttle. Here are the cons. The listings indicate that there is a shuttle to the train station during scheduled times and at request but apparently that is closed during the offseason so we paid about $40/day for a taxi to take us 2 miles each way. The breakfast buffet with the same thing each day. Communication with the hotel prior to our arrival was difficult, emails going unanswered and then not including requested information. Booking through Expedia doesn't allow you to log in to the hotel booking directly to add anything on to your reservation and doing so separately didn't result in getting what was requested. We visited in February, knowing that it is the off season and some things would not be available to us, however, many things were not mentioned that would be closed during this time. The outdoor pool was closed, and that was well advertised, but you would think it would be covered or at least not green and slimy looking. The excursions they can assist with don't exist in winter either. With a nearly empty resort and many amenities unavailable at this time, you would think they would have upgraded our room or something."

"The location was excellent in frint of harbour with beautiful views, right in centre but quite end of Amalfi. Its lovely hotel clean with parking available was essential for us a bit expensive but . Staff very friendly and will do anything for you . We had one evening meal in the hotel -not as much to say about food , we had enjoyed meal out in town so many places to eat . We had few drinks on rooftop bar beautiful views excellent staff - drinks more expensive but its 4 star hotel , lovely settings just enjoy it . Its lovely area around hotel especially night time defenetly posh area "

"This hotel is special for so many reasons. All the staff were excellent and so helpful and kind and attentive. Claudia and Enrico were exceptional and we got to know them. So super kind. Rooms had everything you could want and were perfectly cleaned and detailed. Breakfast was special with so many options and the views were unbelievable from our own balcony. We were very touched by our stay at the hotel and the people that own and work there❤️❤️❤️"
