Wonderful location in the Everglades. Hotel is unique, made of shipping containers. Staff is friendly and helpful.. however mosquitos are unbearable

This is a clean beautiful place right on the water, near trails and marina. The lodge restaurant served good food, but closes early - like 8 pm. The mosquitos were voracious at night, but gone in morning breeze but come prepared. The kitchen is nice so bring your powdered beverages and frig items

Guten Tag, es war sehr schön, ruhig und abgelegen und alles irgendwie sehr neu. 😀 Danke, dass unsere Zimmerwünsche berücksichtigt wurden. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen und kommen gern zurück, nur die Moskitos waren zu der Jahreszeit eine Plage.

Really cool to wake up in a national park, but downsides were it didn’t have any nice features. Towels were old and gross, one left in the shower from cleaners(?), windows could use a clean, but maybe expected by the coast. No free breakfast and what they have is priced because of the location. Wasn’t bad, but wasn’t knock your socks off great.

The room was comfortable. Took a while for the water to get hot and pressure is low. There is a restaurant but can be pricey if traveling with a family. The room is an efficiency. It had a microwave and stove top as well as a full fridge and dishwasher for meals. Tons of mosquitoes if traveling during the parks off-season bring long sleeve and long pants. Otherwise, the bay was beautiful great area to see manatees and crocodiles as well as close to activities like bike riding and kayak rentals.

It was okay, there were a LOT of mosquitoes which made the stay horrible because we couldn’t do anything. But being inside the room was nice.

Beautiful room & beautiful view from the room. The room was very clean, has a nice kitchenette with a full size refrigerator and cooking items. The restaurant food was also very good. The restaurant is at the Lodge. There’s a nice walking trail along the water from the lodge & a marina within a short walk. We took a boat tour, from the marina, that was wonderful & saw many manatees at the marina.

Great location, and the rooms are very nice. Perfect spot after a day at the park. Only complaint is the bugs but that has nothing to do with the property. Just the way it is. You need mosquito netting in this area of the Everglades. Mosquitoes are horrible.

What a wonderful lodging experience at the end of the road! The room was neat and tidy, plus well cooled to counter the heat and humidity of the day. This was quite welcome after several hours of exploring the numerous roadside stops and hiking opportunities in the Everglades National Park. Well worth the travel off the beaten path!

Breakfast available for market price. Restaraunt was decent and your only option for many miles. Staff service was minimal. Board games were the only amenity.
