“Great location, not too far from Amsterdam Centraal and Centrum, but far enough away from crowded, chaotic touristy areas. Lovely area of Amsterdam, Westerpark. Houseboat was very cute, on a quiet canal lined with other cute houseboats and very close to a lot of amenities… grocery stores, cafes, restaurants, public transit, bike rentals, shopping. “The host was the reason that I gave 2 stars instead of 1 but it can be described as 'roughing it' in broad terms, it is not by any sense a House Boat - nobody could live there. It's a boat, you could not stand up in places like the entry or the bathroom.
