Depending on where you're coming from, your journey to Zielona Gora could be a piece of cake or it could drag on forever. We've compiled some tips that will help you start your unforgettable escape on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Flying can be easy if you take the right stuff. First things first, you'll need basic toiletries, such as a toothbrush and hairbrush, a fresh change of clothes and a good read. Secondly, make room in your carry-on bag for your electronic gadgets, chargers, your medications and perhaps a quality neck pillow as well. Lastly, don't forget to bring your passport, travel documents and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) won't be allowed on. Pointed or sharp objects, like your Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are explosive or flammable, such as spray paint, flares and matches, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an aircraft are no place for a fashion parade. Layer your clothing and pick shoes that are flat and easy to pull on and off.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a risk on long-distance flights. It results from blood clots forming due to inactivity and poor circulation, so do some gentle foot and leg exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression socks.
