Ottima soluzione

Ho soggiornato in questo b&b tre giorni a fine dicembre. Accoglienza ottima, personale gentile. La camera matrimoniale era veramente spaziosa, calda e luminosa. Lo stile è molto classico e accogliente. La zona della struttura è tranquilla e silenziosa, nonostante poco lontano ci sia la stazione dei treni. Anche il bagno, fornito anche di bidet, l'ho trovato spazioso e molto pulito. Ho gradito molto il servizio di colazione in camera (la sera una persona dello staff porta in stanza il vassoio con il cibo per la mattina). A pochi passi dal b&b inoltre si può trovare la fermata dei bus dove, prendendo il n. 2 o il n.14, si arriva alla stazione di S. M. Novella (anche se il tragitto è brevissimo, a piedi saranno 10/15 minuti). Da lì si può proseguire a piedi verso il centro perchè tutte le attrazioni sono concentrate una poco distante dall'altra oppure, per i più pigri, si possono cercare i bus che transitano in centro, ma io lo sconsiglio. Nel complesso mi sento di consigliare vivamente questa struttura, ho trascorso tre giorni bellissimi nella meravigliosa Firenze!

Preisgünstiges B&B Citynah

Ich war von dem B&B leider etwas enttäuscht. Was auf den Fotos nett und romantisch wirkte, war doch sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Ich finde es schön das das B&B versucht ihre Nostalgie zu bewahren, da anscheint hier sehr viele berühmte Schauspieler aus den 40-ern schon genächtigt haben. Enttäuscht war ich eher über die Ausstattungen, die in späterer Zeit renoviert waren, wie Duschkabine oder Steckdosen, Treppengeländer (was man gleich in der Hand hat). Das B&B ist wenn man den Weg erst einmal für sich gefunden hat, durch den Hauptbahnhof erlaufbar. Es ist nicht weit von Bahnhof, was aber dazu führt, daß man jeden der Züge genau vor dem Fenster bremsen hört, was einen leider trotz neuerer Fenster den Schlaf raubt, wenn man soviel Unruhe nicht gewöhnt ist. Das Frühstück war leider kein wirkliches. Alles in Billigqualität abgepacktes Zeug. Trinkpäckchen, Kaffeekapsel, Croissant in Folie...dann lieber gar kein Frühstück servieren, da das enttäuschend ist. Zumal es sich als ECO-B&B auszeichnet, dann aber soviel Plastikmüll produziert.

I was disappointed with the place, we needed to carry our heavy luggages with 2 storeys'steps.Luckily when we left, there was someone works there to help us. The room that we had was full of mosquito's dead bodies on the walls. I understood that Florence has mosquitos everywhere, but they should have checked their walls to make sure the cleaningness.

Nice B&B, close to main railway station.

Spent annual holidays in Florence many times in the past, stayed in various types of accommodation and different locations with in the centre of Florence, and varying price ranges.For me Abatjour has come out tops.Well within walking distance of city centre and surprisingly close to Santa Maria Novella station, also in a nice residential area..The staff are brilliant, speaking good English, very very helpful, they actually seem to care about there guests as opposed to just taking your money !!. Paolo the manager brilliant, could not do anymore to make your stay enjoyable and stress free.There was a time where something was not up to scratch but immediately he sorted it out and that also applied to the rest of the staff. What also impressed me was the after hours service of checking in , no problem, I arrived at 11.15pm a bit worried about accessing the B&B, everything was good, exactly as the email Paolo sent me earlier. Will definitely return next year, best B&B I have found in Florence in the last 8 years.The B&B is situated on the first floor and no lift but in my experience that is about the norm for budget hotels and B&B's in Florence.

Dichtbij het centrum en het station.

Prettig, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Een kwartier lopen vanaf het station en een 20 minuten lopen naar het centrum. Bedden zeer goed, badkamer en kamer netjes. Ontbijt onder de maat. Een voorverpakt croisantje met een eveneens voorverpakt cakeje. Daarbij twee voorverpakte toastjes en koffie uit een automaat waar je eerst een cupje in moet doen. Desondanks een goed hotel. Een uitgebreider ontbijt zou het top maken.

Friendliest staff, great location!

We arrived later than it said we could check in online and we were greeted by (I'm assuming the owner), Paolo. He welcomed us with a smile on his face and carried our suitcases up the stairs. He got us checked in and also took a few extra minutes to give us a map and draw on it, which buses to take and what to see. He also gave use two coupons which he stamped for restaurants in the area to get discounts and a free glass of wine. The staff was incredible and the room was fantastic. We had our own shower and there was even a sink, the breakfast was great and there was free wifi. If you have been traveling in Europe for awhile you appreciate these kinds of things. If I ever make it back to Florence I will definitely come here!

Bed and not much of a Breakfast

The owners of this place need to do some research on the meaning of the term "Bed & Breakfast". The breakfast provided was a small croissant, a little chocolate cake snack (like a Hostess cupcake, only smaller), a piece of dry toast (all were packaged, not fresh), a small box of pear juice, and instant coffee. Totally inadequate! The location was far from the center, requiring a long hike to get to the things I went there to see. Also, the train tracks ran right behind the building, making it very noisey.

Très bien situé,la chambre est grande avec une salle de bain privée et moderne. Les deux jeunes femmes présentent sur les lieux, sont très chamantes et nous ont été de grande utilité pour des services comme réserver notre visite au musée, trouver un marché, et expliquer fonctionnemnt du service de transport en autobus. Malgré l'obstacle de la langue, nous avons réussi a nous comprendre. De plus, le prix est très interessant si on compare avec Rome ou ailleur en europe.

Inizialmente ho considerato che la distanza dal centro fosse eccessiva. In realtà, imparato a fare uso delle due linee di autubus che, in pochi minuti, conducono dal B&B alla stazione di Santa Maria Novella, ne ho apprezzata tutta la comodità.

Ficamos no Abatjour por duas noites e gostamos muito. O quarto era confortável e limpo, a moça da recepção bem solícita e gentil e a localização era boa. O único ponto negativo foi que não tem manteiga no café da manhã e, apesar de parecer um ponto bobo, só tínhamos opções doces para comer, como geléias, nutela e bolos, o que incomodou um pouco. Fora isso, está super recomendado.

Svært imøtekommende ansatte, og sjarmerende innredet B&B med "hjemme-følelsen". Ligger i nærheten av en flott park, ca 10-15 min gange fra togstasjonen og omtrent 20min gange fra sentrum. Gode bussforbindelser inn til sentrum, men det er hyggelig å spasere turen i stedet. Rommet vårt var stort, senga kanskje ikke av topp kvalitet, men den generelle opplevelsen var utmerket. De har lagt flid i innredningen, og det er noe rustikk og personlig over hele stedet. Anbefales.

Well worth a look

Nicely located, fifteen minutes from the centre of town and less than ten from the station. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms quite comfortable if a little basic, but perfect for a short business stay. Would definitely recommend for short stays at short notice, or for couples travelling to Florence who don't want to blow the bank on accommodation but still want somewhere friendly, clean, comfortable and well located.
