We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Davanzati in Florence and cannot say enough about the hospitality we received. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely interested in making our stay enjoyable. What really stood out was the extraordinary support they provided when our baggage went missing during our travels. The staff went above and beyond to help us communicate with the airline, follow up on our luggage, and navigate what could have been a very stressful situation. Their kindness, patience, and willingness to help made an enormous difference and made us feel as though we were being looked after by friends rather than simply staying at a hotel. The hotel itself is charming, comfortable, and wonderfully located for exploring Florence, but it is the people who truly make Hotel Davanzati special. We would absolutely stay here again and enthusiastically recommend Hotel Davanzati to anyone visiting Florence. Exceptional hospitality and a genuinely caring staff — five stars!

Absolutely wonderful stay in Florence! We had an amazing experience at Hotel Davanzati. Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. The hotel has a beautiful classic and historic atmosphere — staying here almost feels like stepping back in time or being inside a movie. At the same time, it is exceptionally clean and very well maintained. Honestly, everything was spotless. The customer service was outstanding. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, from the reception staff to the wonderful team at breakfast. They truly made us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. The combination of its historic charm, beautiful interior, exceptional cleanliness, and amazing staff made our stay in Florence even more memorable. I highly recommend Hotel Davanzati to anyone visiting Florence. If we come back to Florence, we would absolutely stay here again. One of the best hotel experiences we’ve had!

Leonardo at the front desk was very helpful and always remembered us. The staff at breakfast were friendly and very quick to provide help. Our only complaint was that the air conditioning didn’t seem able to get lower than 75. We didn’t complain because we had read this about the hotel previously.
