The location is fantastic, just steps from Ponte Vecchio and close to the Uffizi. The rooftop terrace was lovely and breakfast was included. However, our room was small and basic, and it wasn't worth the price. Good for the location.

An older but great hotel in an excellent location. Nice washroom with marble tiling and many amenities. Room itself was comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety, eggs, sausages, juices, yogurt, croissants, etc. The staff were friendly, accommodating and very helpful. Great view from their tower! A real pleasant stay.

Fantastic stay, the tower is just beautiful and the best way to see the city. Beware it can get busy around sunset. The staff are great and our room was gorgeous, with air con in the bedroom and living area. The location is ideal. Breakfast was wonderful with great staff. Could not fault it!

The rooftop view is breathtaking. The room was nice with a small balcony, comfortable enough bed and in room bathroom. The location is perfect with a short 5-10min walk to nearly everything in downtown Florence.

Great location near Ponte Vecchio and walkable to various restaurants and athe Duomo. Wonderful service from all hotel team members. Breakfast was good too. Amazing views from the rooftop terrace. Has air conditioning which was great for summer. Wish we could open the wi dues as I always need fresh air. Slight musty smell in the room, maybe because the room was closed up. Great stay overall.

Great location, very central, close to all areas, historic building with lots of history but nothing written or explained by staff in term of the building’ history which could’ve been great to see. Our room was large and clean. Breakfast was very average but included in our booking. The safety box was loose and not fixed to the structure and can be easily carried by hand.

The room and hotel were beautiful, the breakfast was excellent with numerous dairy-free and gluten-free options and fresh fruit juices, and the staff were hardworking and warm. They even accepted a large delivery for us. The location was excellent. The only issues were slow WiFi (in our room at least), and the shampoo dried out my hair. But we would stay there again.

Extremely Noisy – We Barely Slept. Would Never Stay Again! The hotel is in an excellent location, housed in a beautiful historic building, and has a lovely lobby. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives largely end. We were looking forward to a relaxing stay in Florence, but instead barely slept the entire time. The noise was absolutely unbearable. We could hear the nearby bar until approximately 2 a.m. Then, starting at 5:15 a.m. every single morning, the deliveries and carts servicing the surrounding hotels and restaurants began. It sounded like a garbage truck was parked directly outside our window, with screeching metal, crashing glass, carts rattling back and forth over the cobblestones, and people shouting. This continued throughout the morning. We didn’t get a single decent night’s sleep during our stay. We asked to change rooms, but the hotel told us that all the rooms were equally noisy, so there was nothing they could do. We could also clearly hear guests in the neighbouring room. The lack of soundproofing was astonishing. The room access was also incredibly inconvenient. We were staying on the second floor in the back wing, but to reach our room, we had to take the elevator to the third floor and then walk down a flight of stairs every single time. There are stairs everywhere in this hotel, making it a particularly poor choice for anyone with mobility issues or difficulty navigating stairs. Beyond that, the breakfast was so so. Not coming back!

We loved the hotel for so many reasons. The location is excellent, the building is so interesting, all the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the roof terrace is fabulous. We highly recommend it as THE place to stay in Florence!
