This b&b is fantastic for the right people. To be clear, it is a fourth floor walk up with NO elevator. If this works for you, then the location is great. It’s walking distance to everything and yet not in a main square, so it is quiet at night. It takes some direction following to get in the first time, but everything was very well explained.

The location is wonderful. The actual room we stayed was ok. It was clean but you'll notice in some of the reviews the room could use an upgrade (paint and side tables a little larger). Staff was ok. Knowing that what time we were arriving I had expected to have someone meet us. I had to call and we were given a code to pickup our keys. We did not receive the wine that was advertised.

Nice room with clean and good shared bath. No problem. Big stairs to get to third floor. I praise I didnt have a suitcase. Check in via WhatsApp took like 30 minutes.

Nice place , good location. NO parking on-site ! $ 30 - $45 a night in the surrounding garages. Wi-Fi wasn’t working properly , lots of stairs to access the hotel if you have heavy luggage.

The lication is wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful. To have an international b&b on the top floor without and elevator is a bit of an issue. Not all guests are 25 year old athletes haha. But over all. This place was charming. Just fix the ac unit.

Awkward check in service. Was told they had a secure baggage storage which ended up just being behind the unmanned reception desk and very visible. Bed was horrible, just two small beds pushed together and the constantly slid apart due to the cheap frame. Would not recommend.

If you are coming to this establishment with luggage do yourselves a favor and avoid at all cost!!!!! We arrived with luggages for a 5 night stay the building had no elevator and the place is on the highest floor. When I spoke to the host to see if there was any way someone could come down to help us she said at the moment nobody is there but she will let me know if she can have someone help us on the day of our checkout. She never got back to us, so a day before the check out I messaged her to see if she was able to get someone to help us out she replied back saying "Unfortunately our guesthouse doesn't not have a porter service, we are deeply Sorry." I definitely wouldn't recommend this establishment to anyone. Terrible service!

Do not recommend.

Dirty room. The garbage wasn’t taken out and there were bad odors in the bedroom and bathroom. They also had zero toilet paper and the sink was dirty. The bed was hard as a rock as well. The residence was on the fifth floor with no elevator which was not shared in the listing. Additionally, took a long time to communicate and receive the virtual key. Do not recommend.

Great location, quiet because windows open towards enclosed courtyard but no views, four story walk up is tiring after hours of walking the city and not easy if you have a lot of luggage, rooms are large and clean with great showers with hot water and small fridge, AC works great which is a must in summer, this is a B&B so except for initial check in, no staff available.

Great stay near the Duomo ~

Marcelo was great at meeting me to do check in; this is more like a private boutique /self check in hotel…. Real easy to access it and safe neighborhood…very spacious room only downfall is that there is no elevator and it’s on third floor…just FYI- but I was good exercise ;) Breakfast and service was fabulous… simple menu but great quality… I would stay there again!

Lovely stay in the room with the fresco ceiling. Clean room and comfortable bed. Very quiet (including the fridge and the aircon). Only marked it down due to the bathroom handle being broken. Yes there are lots of stairs but worth the effort. Good breakfast which they kindly served early on the days that we had bookings to get to. Very friendly and helpful.

From the moment we arrived, to the day we left, we felt so welcomed! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Keep in mind, this hotel is on the third floor with no elevator. The rooms are spacious, although showing their age. I felt that was fine as the building itself is historical. The shower is small- and I’m 5’7! Very clean and within walking distance of everything! The included continental breakfast was perfect before heading out to explore the city. We would definitely stay here again!

If you want to stay in a Rococo residence in the heart of historic Florence (5 min from the Duomo and from San Lorenzo and Cappelle Medicee), in a spacious room, with delicate allegories painted on its ceiling and with a charming view over back gardens, courtyards and hills - this is a perfect choice. Shoutout to Daniele and Adriana, perfect hosts going to great lengths to make travelers feel at home. It is important to note, however, that the B&B is located on the third floor and there is no elevator. There is also not a permanent receptionist but arrangements are made so one is not needed at all times. Quiet. Gated building.

The room was good for being in an old building in old city, as long as you can actually get inside. We knew this property was not manned 24 hours. They give you an emergency number for off hours. THE STAFF DOES NOT PICK UP WHEN YOU CALL IN AN EMERGENCY SUCH AS BEING LOCKED OUT OF THE BUILDING. I had to climb over the front gate (aprx 9-10 feet tall) when the key fob stopped working and they wouldn’t answer despite calling every number they gave us for aprx. 3 hours. The staff member that was supposed to be monitoring the emergency number responsed the next day by telling me “I was sleeping”. I would NOT recommend this property.

Of all the accommodations I have stayed at in my life, this one was the worst. I am by no means one to complain, but it was awful. The door to our hotel room was lodged when we returned for the night around 10pm. Nobody would answer our calls for hours, there was nobody around, and the building had no cell service. We ended up stranded with nowhere to go, our bags were stuck in the room, and we had to find a hotel for the night. When we tried to inquire with the staff the next morning, they shrugged and said they wouldn’t help or refund us. Door issue aside, our room had no windows and was a major fire / safety hazard. It was also incredibly dirty. Overall 0/10. Would not recommend.
