Apartment in the center sleeps 7, bright and would silently, 2 double bedrooms (one en suite) and 1 single / twin bedroom, bathroom with shower, large kitchen / living room with sofa bed. The apartment has air conditioning and heating, free wi-fi in all rooms. Washing machine, microwave, kettle, hairdryer, iron. E 'can be added on request a cot for children up to 3 years at no extra charge (sheets included, no towels). 3rd floor (no elevator)
My "sweet home" is on the third floor of an old building, typical of this area Oltrarno (it is not equipped with a lift, as often happens in the old part of the city). In compensation, however, it is very bright and quiet, with a panoramic view of the typical rooftops of San Frediano, where the eye can sweep up to Pitti and Forte Belvedere.
There are two double bedrooms, one with a bathroom with bath, and a single room with a bed that can become a regular bed. In the living room sofa can accommodate one person. Another bathroom has a shower.
In the kitchen you will find a washing machine, oven, stove, microwave and kettle, TV, iron. Throughout the house there is free wi-fi.
On foot you can reach easily in 10-15 minutes to the main museums and the most beautiful places in the center (Palazzo Pitti, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi, Duomo, Piazza del Carmine and St. Spirit) as well as the main shopping streets, such as via Tornabuoni. Who does not want to walk it at various available bus, with the bus nr 6 you will reach both the center and the Accademia Gallery. In the evening the Oltrarno district is full of pubs, restaurants and taverns and is alive with young people who spend the evening here with friends.

Excellent location, beautiful apartment, everything you need! My teenage daughter and I stayed here for two weeks and will definitely be back. Apartment is walking distance to everything Florence has to offer but far enough from the crowds that you really get to relax. Owners are very responsive and made sure we were well taken care of. Would give 6 stars if allowed!!

Home away from home

First, Stefano is a great host! Met us at the property to let us in and gave us a tour of the space. Explained how everything works and where everything was located. He then stayed and went over a map of Florence with us. Pointed out where all the museums and places to see were in relation to our location. Gave great recommendations. Has a map and list of restaurants, cafes, gelato places that he recommends.Fantastic space. The three actual bedrooms were perfect for our group. Was very spacious. Kitchen had everything we needed for coffee in the morning, and we did make a few meals. Ice tray in the freezer was clutch. Quite a few stairs up to the space, but not too bad. The location of the property was great. Very walkable from train station, even with large suitcases. Location is on left bank, which is quieter than where all tourist attractions are located, but still plenty of cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, etc.Would definitely recommend and would stay again when we come back to Florence!

Excellent apartment in a renovated mediaeval building. Stefano and Antonietta were helpful, friendly and responsive. We loved the busy, noisy, trendy young neighbourhood Piazza Trilussa in Trastevere-- but be aware that the street below does not become quiet before 2 am. The bath and toilet perched above one bedroom were difficult to get into for older, less mobile people. The other shower is in a cramped toilet, but perfectly adequate. We stayed with our three adult children. We loved the place and recommend it highly.

An excellent place to stay south of the river .The owner was very friendly ( despite our rather late arrival) and gave us good local tips. There are stairs to climb, which might be a problem for some but we had a delightful stay.

The perfect accommodation for our trip to Florence. Super clean and spacious. We were travelling with a 6 month old baby and Stefano made sure we had everything we needed. Baby cot, high chair etc. When we arrived Stefano and his wife welcomed us and gave us many great recommendations for supermarkets, restaurants and sight seeing. When we return to Florence we would definitely stay here again. The location is perfect for exploring the city and away from the busy tourist areas.

This is a wonderful apartment if you are looking to stay in a neighborhood setting. Only a 10-15 min walk to train station and most of city center during the day and surrounded by local restaurants in the evening. Stefano was a great host!

Sweet Home was a truly sweet home

An absolutely wonderful vacation stay with exceptional hosts. The location is great, a short walk from everything and lively but without the hordes on the other side of the Duomo. The unit has all the charm you would expect and is bigger than the pictures make it seem. For those who want to cook, the kitchen is nicely stocked. All the rooms have A/C and there is even a washing machine, which was very convenient. Finally, Stefano and his wife were truly helpful and gracious hosts. I wish I could give this property six stars.

Amazing Stay in Florence

Stefano and Antonella were great and gracious hosts. We wanted to experience the Italian people along with the Italian culture and their zest for life. Holiday in Florence

The host was very welcoming when we arrived very late and gave us information about where to visit, annotating a map for our reference. As detailed, the flat was on the third floor up many steps and had views of the rooftops and the local church. It was excellently positioned, being walking distance from all the major sites along interesting roads and with excellent restaurants nearby. The Carrefour express supermarket was very nearby and the lady in charge of the bread made sure we had bread fresh from the ovens. I have marked down on the amenities because of the following - under popular amenities a hot tub was listed but there isn't one. The fla had the equipment detailed and was very clean. The listing states that there are two bathrooms - one is a wetroom, protecting the toilet and bidet by a curtain and one is listed as ensuite but this is open plan via a flight of stairs in the bedroom. The bath in the bedroom was also rather difficult to get into. We had a wonderful holiday and managed to laugh about wet feet in the wetroom and needing climbing skills to get into the bath.

We had a terrific stay. The host is so friendly and accommodating. Charmingly decorated and with lots of good natural light. It’s a super convenient location and everything in the apartment is in good working order. We cooked lots of meals so we particularly appreciated the very well equipped kitchen!

A real prize in authentic old Florence

Host Stefano is outstanding. He was very helpful in communications before we arrived, met us at the apartment and showed us how everything worked, and gave us excellent suggestions about the neighborhood and sight-seeing in Florence. Then my husband and I came down with Covid while we were staying here. Stefano offered to get whatever we needed; he bought us groceries we requested and delivered them right to our door. He was so helpful and kind! The apartment itself is just as described: large, comfortable, and well-equipped. Besides the full kitchen and two bathrooms, it has a clothes washer. We wondered if drying would be a challenge, but no problem - Stefano provided a folding clothes rack that extended to hold a full load of clothes, plus clotheslines outside. The neighborhood has restaurants, groceries, and pharmacies nearby, and is not far from the sights. And we loved the views over the historic Florence rooftops from the windows on all sides of the apartment.

Our experience at this VRBO rental was truly remarkable, thanks to the outstanding hospitality and assistance provided by our hosts. From the moment we arrived, the host's warm welcome and helpful demeanor stood out. Check-in was seamless, and they ensured we settled in comfortably. Their prompt and informative communication regarding the city's attractions and local points of interest greatly enhanced our stay. It was evident that they possessed an in-depth knowledge of Florence, and their willingness to share insights and recommendations added an extra layer of enjoyment to our trip. One aspect that truly impressed us was the hosts' genuine dedication to making our stay as pleasant as possible. Whether it was providing directions, suggesting off-the-beaten-path locations to explore, or assisting with any queries we had, their attentiveness made us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. The rental's location on an upper floor is worth noting, as there is no elevator. Although this was not an issue for our group on this occasion, it could be something to consider for those traveling with elderly family members or individuals with mobility constraints. However, once inside the rental, the experience was absolutely delightful. The accommodation itself exceeded our expectations.

We had an amazing experience here! I can't say enough wonderful things about this home. There was enough space that our family with two teenagers were thrilled with their own rooms. Air condition!!! It was hot and this was amazing. Washing machine allowed us to reset during our 2 wk stay in Italy. The restaurant and gelato recommendations were perfect; a grocery store right around the corner was nice. Great neighborhood, easy walk to and from the train station and all other tourist spots. My wife went running all around the area. The hosts were great and were easy to talk with. We'd love to go back here again!
