BEWARE OF BATS!

There was a bat living in the rafters. The ceilings are high and we could not get it out. Owner did nothing to remove it and will not refund us. She put us in another hotel (that is nearly $200 less a night because it had no view and was the size of a closet) and refuses to refund us the difference. A previous review shows she did the same thing to another couple. She pretends the back up hotel (Hotel Centro) is that of a friend but our receipt shows it is owned and managed by the same company. It’s a scam going on to charge guests huge amounts for lessor accomadations. The manager is rude and extremely difficult. In addition, the hotel is not marked at all and she gave us horrible directions taking us a half mile away from the hotel. Our GPS took us directly to it but there was no sign marking it. Do not stay at this place. Hotels.com should forbid this woman from posting her hotel before she takes advantage of more customers. Do not stay here. We never want to return to Florence again because our experience with her was so horrible.

Centrally locates penthouse suite

Can’t find a more central location... and the views from the suite balcony is amazing. Drinking coffee in early morning looking out over the Ponte Vecchio is priceless. Was met by staff member to check in.. he walked us thru all the details and amenities, as well as helped with any additional services or suggestions. Great couple of nights to finish our a memorable week in Florence

Estadia maravilhosa. Única observação: hidromassagem é grande e o tempo de água quente não é o suficiente para ela funcionar, só é possível encher ela com água morna para fria, o que não é agradável no inverno.

Location, Location, Location

The location was amazing. It had a view off of the balcony of the Arno/Ponte Vecchio, Duomo and Basilica di San Marco in Florence and off of the other balcony a view of the Pitti Palace. Easy access to restaurants and shopping. Wi-Fi was spotty, but all in all a great place to stay in Florence. Not a traditional hotel, so no daily service (unless you want to pay extra), which was fine for us...but should be noted.

The room was extremely aekward. It was a two level apt where the bed was upstairs and the bathroom was downstairs. The stairs to walk up and down was difficult. To get to the room was take a tiny elevator to rooftop then walk up stairs to the room

This has to be the best, most romantic room in Florence. I can't imagine there is a more romantic, better view or private terrace in Florence!

Excellent hotel in a historic building literally in the middle of it all! A true five star experience!
