「Host was responsive and communicative. He worked with us when our plans changed due to a family emergency. The cabin was as described and was historic, cute and cozy. We really enjoyed our stay here and just wish we could have stayed a few more nights! Overall the place was very clean. Clean towels and linens were provided.」

「I loved how the dear welcome you as you enter the property. So quiet and peaceful. Excellent views. Fabulous directions. Comfy beds. Great for a small family of four. But also wonderful for two. We had a great stay.」

「The solitude and beauty of this location cannot be emphasized enough. It feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, even though civilization isn't too far away. The fireflies should be on the brochure. Our one complaint would be the cooking situation. I think the controls on the oven are broken, and the small kitchen is sparsely equipped, and one of the pans was badly burned before we even got there. I would suggest eating out. The fire hot tub is heavenly. Squire Boone Caverns was better then...

「The second time I visited this same place. Always makes me happy to set the phone down and live life one moment at a time and hear the sounds of nature as its scheduled program.」

「Marquetta is the most amazing host. She provides fresh eggs from her chickens, bacon, English muffins and even a half stick of land-O-Lakes butter for breakfast. There are very nice chocolates bedside. They even have a coffee station! We go for the amazing, relaxing pool. It is amazing. We make this yearly vacation spot. Everything is amazing!!」

「Captain's Cabin was the perfect place to stay for our three day Burbon Trail experience. The location is central and the cabin is very well equipped. It is also decorated with historical period pieces that take you back in time. The back porch is nice for an evening of playing cards and enjoying a bottle of wine. Tammy and Jan were most wonderful hosts. Tammy makes a delicious breakfast to begin your day too! I have already shared this spot with my family and friends for their future rentals.」

「We absolutely loved it. We had to little toads (Alfred and Albert) come sit with us on the porch when we were just decompressing and looking at the stars. I would love to go back out there and I hopefully will. I live in the city and have 7 kids so getting away from all of that with just me and my wife was definitely needed.」

「This historic cabin is one of the best rentals ever. Agility is needed for the stairs to the second floor, but the stairs were easily managed by us -- who are people of a certain age. The bucolic setting makes this place a welcome respite from the fast-paced life beyond the gates.」

「The house was spacious and comfortable. We had a great time using the game room and hot tub. The house felt tucked away, but was very accessible to local towns and the interstate. April was a great host and easy to communicate with. For things to do, would recommend Lake Hardy's beach, Soar n Bounce in Clarksville, and a stop at Java Station 31 for coffee.」

「Overall, this is a really nice and peaceful, cabin. They provide everything you need so you don’t have to rush to the grocery store right when you get there which is so nice. However, the only thing was the downstairs basement has a really loud buzzing noise due to electricity box.. if you’re a person sensitive to sound, it would be really hard to sleep down there.」

「The cabin was great! It was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need! The space was perfect for a large family and the property was very nice!」

「The house was perfectly situated out in the woods! We sat on the beautiful deck and enjoyed nature! The house was very modern, everything looked brand new, and was adorably decorated! I loved the outdoor shower!! My family loved the nearby kayaking and hiking!! Going to tell everyone about this little hidden gem!!!!」
