"Fogo is a wonderful island, really worth a visit. Great places for eating . The house is a good size, just me and my wife travelling but a full kitchen to cook and laundry. The most beautiful setting, magical view from the window. We were lucky with the weather and sunshine most of the time. Dinner at the Inn was an experience. We were the only ones on the ferry coming, stopping at the Change island first we saw dolphins. Our host warned us but we were complacent and headed out to the return ferry just before 9am for the 9.45 ferry to leave the island. Confronted with a very long queue and sadly no room. 10.15 Ferry from the Change Island only took 2 cars as a huge queue returning back to the Change Island… so waiting until 2pm for the next crossing!! We were told , but arrive early!! There was only a one lorry in front of us but when the ferry is full it’s full!"

"A charming century home located on the waterfront with a dock and firepitin front of the house. Very clean, well stocked with toiletries and coffee. We were a group of eight seniors and found beds to be quite comfortable. House was very clean and communications with the host were great. Stairs are steep, but easily managed, Would definitely return in the future."
