Host very friendly and welcoming. Beautifully clean and fab facilities with some really thoughtful finishing touches. The views were just wonderful and there is a pig and a pony, what more could you want!

Channel View is a lovely place to stay

Channel View is a lovely place to stay. Lee & Sonia were very welcoming from the moment we arrived. The place is a credit to them both. They have put so much work into this amazing place. The views are spectacular. We will definitely be coming back to visit again.

OUTSTANDING

Absolutely phenomenal! Sonia and Lee were absolutely amazing, so accommodating and attentive. The property was extremely clean, spacious and cozy! Little details like having an Alexa in each room was fun. The hot tub was fab and the views from the terrace was even better! Loved it ! Thank you x

A lovely weekend stay in Folkestone

Sonia and Lee were very welcoming and the flat was lovely and tastefully decorated, with lots of amenities and we had fresh milk, a bottle of wine, and and loaf of bread for breakfast which was all great and very welcoming. We did however feel like it was quite expensive and not value for money, as although the apartment itself was lovely, with the added bonus of the hot tub, we did feel like it wasn’t as private as we’d have liked, with the main house right beside the windows to the bedroom/bathroom. We are both quite tall, so the double bed with a footboard at the bottom wasn’t quite big enough for both of us - something to bear in mind when booking. Sonia and Lee were very accommodating and let us keep our bikes inside the property during our stay. The views from the property are stunning and there are superb views to enjoy while sipping on your morning coffee!

Excellent accommodation. Had a very relaxing time and would recommend. Everything was perfect. Very clean with absolutely everything thought about from towels for the hot tub to binoculars to view the stunning scenery. With Sonia and Lee as hosts as the cherry on the cake.

Anniversary Stay

This property is beautifully styled and very comfortable whilst having a really warm and personal vibe. The location is great with a lovely 20 minute walk into the town centre. Folkestone has a wonderful vibe for a short weekend. Thoroughly recommend.

Nothing short of perfect

Had the best stay here. Starting with a message from the hosts to check what sort of goodies we’d like on arrival, everything we needed was taken care of. The place was absolutely gorgeous and furnished beautifully, with stunning views over the channel. My partner was blown away for her surprise weekend away. The hot tub and getting to say hello to the hosts pet pot bellied pig and Shetland pony was the icing on the cake. Would definitely come back again :)

Without a doubt the nicest weekend ever! Hosts are the nicest people you will meet! The holiday home is amazing! The views are amazing! Location amazing! Cleanliness amazing! They have everything you want and need! Whether it be chilling in the hot tub and visiting their micro pig thats not too micro Or little pretty shetland pony Or a little walk into the harbour for some food drink and entertainment! Theres not a single thing i could even suggest to improve! Can not wait to return! xXx

A wonderfully appointed, chic, costal hideaway with breath-taking views and fabulous hosts.

Channel View is nothing short of perfect for a coastal get away that balances a rural and secluded retreat with a chic and modern living space. Super well appointed, every little detail has been thought of to make the stay exactly what you want to it, be that a cosy hideaway through to a fun and comfortable base for some local coastal exporting. We only booked to stay for a night to getaway and it delivered everything we needed and then some. The chilled Prosecco on arrival, the perfect temperature of the hot tub, the stylish décor, the breath-taking views and the incredibly welcoming hosts made the trip utterly incredible. Some online reviews made me nervous that people had ended up being on holiday with the hosts but actually while engaging and informative, friendly and communicative Sonia and Lee really respect your privacy and space 100%. They make you feel like they always on hand if you need anything but equally you are left to enjoy your escape in peace if you choose to. I booked this trip as a little last minutes surprise for my fiancé as we love the sea, rural landscapes and to relax in a nice environment. Channel View and Sonia and Lee delivered this to the highest available standards and it was well beyond what I could have wished for. Next time we need to escape, we will be back here in a heartbeat and hopefully for a few days rather than just the 1 !

Lovely Getaway

We stayed at Channel View with two dogs for 2 nights. Had a great welcome, everything was thought about for us and the dogs. The homeowners are very friendly and makes you feel at home. The place is immaculate & the views are breathtaking, if I could attach a picture of the sunset I would.

Do yourself a favour and book Channel View

Our hosts were the most lovely and attentive hosts ever, they were so helpful and the place was absolutely stunning, perfect for our week getaway! the grounds were beautiful with a spectacular garden and hot tub (which was the perfect end to some great days) I’ve already talked about booking again for next year as we had such a good time! If you’re unsure about where to go for your holiday/staycation do yourself a favour and let it be here you’ll have the nicest time, and book at least 2 nights in the hot tub too I promise you’ll want more than 1!

Amazing stay!

Had such an amazing stay at Channel View booked through Bloom Stays. Everything was perfect, the view and the accommodation itself! The hosts were lovely and very helpful with tips on what to do around the area. All in all, we had a perfect getaway.
