Great view of the pier and water!! Huge balcony!! Right on the water in a perfect spot to walk down to some early morning surfing. Each room had its own full bathrooms with showers.

This condo is absolutely beautiful. I loved the master bedroom with the full sliding glass doors. I miss it terribly.The only request that I would suggest is that there was better silverware and cooking utensils. The stove when using the oven gave off a burning smell.I loved this condo so much and hope to return to it.Waking up to the beautiful sunrise coming through the doors was an absolute joy

Fantastic Beach Getaway

This condo was excellent. It had TWO master suites, which was great cause us and my parents could both stay in a suite facing the ocean. It also had plenty of space for our children. Since there are 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms everyone had their own bathroom. Short walk to restaurants and shops and a great place to stay for the annual Flip Flop Drop!

Family weekend getaway

Absolutely beautiful condominium with space enough for 8 of us to have our own space and not be on top of one another. Management company was excellent at handling small issues and their response was rapid. The location is close enough to walk to restaurants and attractions in the area and the view was absolutely breathtaking. Would definitely use the accommodation again!

Great location. Great property. Unit, just okay.

Unit was okay. Was it FINE? Yes. Was it great? No. It needs an overall deep clean and an overhaul. New fixtures, new paint, updated switches and plugs, etc. Old furniture and decor. Furniture doesn’t make sense. Stools don’t fit bar height. Old kitchen cabinets and kitchen supplies. Needs professional window treatments for sun blocking. We booked last minute and it was fine. We definitely will do Folly again, but will rent a different unit. NOTE: this has nothing to do with management, and purely the unit itself.

Friends Getaway

The location was perfect and the ease of check in was very desirable. It would have been nice to have more supplies in the VRBO because we had to go and purchase paper products, toilet paper, soap, etc. which is not something you want to do when you arrive for vacation and would have been challenging if we did not rent a car. Our condo had 4beds and 4 baths which was perfectly for our group of 4 couples. The bars and restaurants were within walking distance. Rita's was our very favorite!

Always a great place to stay! Dunes Properties is super pleasant to work with & got back with us quickly when more keys fobs were needed for our big group. Good food places within walking distance!

Fun at Folly

The location is excellent and the views are amazing! Had a little trouble with initial parking code before we got the fobs. Only downside is the lack of coverage on the large balcony and no umbrellas or shade at the pool.

Mostly Good

The convenient location and great beach access were great, as was the pool and comfortable living area. However, the beds tended to be hard, giving back pain to several in our party. The lighting in the bedrooms was very poor, except for the patio doors which let in too much light in the morning because of the poor drapes..

Good, bad and the ugly

Good: Beach access, layout of condo, furniture and mattresses comfortable and ac works great. Bad: Small one person kitchen, no top sheets on some beds, pillows flat, pools closed multiple days, no umbrella's at pool, knives in kitchen are real dull, no large serving spoons, not any large bowls and no refrigerator storage containers. Ugly: Clothes dryer is fire hazard and doesn't dry clothes, refrig leaks/ freezer door doesn't close properly and doesn't cool properly on lower shelves. Everyone checks in at the same time with one elevator on each side of complex which took forever to get up to the 4th floor condo.

Ocean Getaway

This property is in a great location. Walking distance to all the restaurants and on the beach. Check in and out were very easy. Besides aluminum foil and plastic bags, the unit has everything you would need. Plenty of linens and towels and enough in the kitchen to cook. The washer was leaking when we got there and the dishwasher doesn't work great. The internet also doesn't work. We did the troubleshooting and it didn't help. The password is correct but the internet just doesn't connect correctly. Without internet there is no TV. We ended up having to use our hotspot on our phone to watch the TV. I texted the management company about all of this and they did not respond. We used an umbrella/chair company to rent stuff for the beach and they were great. The unit was set up nicely with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms with comfortable furniture. The pictures make it look bigger, brighter, and newer than it is, but for a folly stay on the beach within walking distance to everything it's great. It was nice that it was available for a 2 night stay as well since most rentals are not. Great place for a quick stay with 4 women all wanting their own bathrooms. I'd stay there again, just would have a little lower expectations. I'm not sure it was worth $1000 a night but still a great place.

Perfect location

You just can’t beat the location of these condos. Oceanfront with gorgeous views of the sunrise each morning. We were also just half a block away from Center Street where all the restaurants and shopping is. We would definitely stay here again.

Ceiling fans didn’t work, dirty dishes, parts of blinds missing in master, ac vents awful and most of the lamps did not work. Just wasn’t impressed.

Great vacation spot

The rental process was smooth and the location of our condo couldn’t have been more perfect. Unfortunately, our condo was shabby especially considering the price we paid. The blinds on all the oceanfront rooms were broken or missing. It needed some upkeep and a deep cleaning.

Amazing Location

The location of the property you can't beat!! The views of the ocean from the balcony is amazing!! Loved being on the 4th (and top) floor of the condo building. Very close proximity to the pool. Walking distance to the local shops and restaurants. Very relaxing and amazing 2021 family vacation!! Loved that each room had its own bathroom for privacy. Hand sanitizer dispensers between each room and were always full. We absolutely loved the condo and the property!! Would highly recommend!

The beach isn't the only thing hot here.

When I first get to my condo I want to unpack. Only there were no hangers in any of the four bedrooms. The master bedroom was a minimum of 85 degrees. I turned on the box fan they had in the room and it made the 1980's plastic blinds all clank and clap. No one was able to sleep in that bedroom. I paid for a 4 bedroom condo and got a three. It takes 3 hours to wash a load of laundry. That doesn't count drying it. The bathrooms were beautiful and of course the beach and ocean are wonderful, as are the restaurants. I will stay at these condos again, just not 403. I feel like the owners should stay a week and see how the place funtions. And having a 7 digit code to remember for the door was a hassle. I finally had it memorized by day five.

Folly beach villa review

Had to wait on cleaning crew until 4:30 to check in the room. The room was clean and spacious. Loved the walk-in shower in the master bath. Loved the view from the balcony. Clean beaches and friendly people. Had to wait until Thursday on maintenance to fix sliding glass door in living room. Loved the Folly Beach area and will visit again. Enjoyed our stay.

Family Vacation

The sliding door to the patio from the living room was extremely hard to open and close. We were afraid it was going to come off the track. The washer does not work well. We wish there had been more kitchen items, but we were good with what we had. Loved the location to the beach and pool.

Charleston Coast Condo 403

This was our first visit to Folly Beach. The condo was ok. It was advertised as being close to an active pier. The pier had been damaged by a hurricane and shut down nearly 2 years ago. The description needs to remove the pier amenities because they are currently false. My boys were very unhappy that they couldn’t go fish from the pier. The vertical blinds in the main master BR are in need of repair/ replacement. Several of the slats are missing and the ones that were there would not close. They left a several foot wide gap. Fortunately the outside temp was not extremely hot. If it had been, that room would have been down right hot. As it was, it got very warm. But then I guess that is why there were floor fans located in all the other bedrooms. The TV in the second master bedroom did not work properly. It just kept scrolling thru channels and would not stop. The tv in the main master BR could only be used for streaming channels. Fortunately previous guests forgot to log out and I was able to watch Netflix. Had that not been the case that tv would have been totally useless to this person who likes to go to sleep watching tv. Before renting this unit again I would have to be shown that these issues were corrected.
