「We had a great time staying here for a quick getaway. Cabin was clean and the views to the lake were amazing. The great room with the fireplace was spectacular and we spent a lot of time in there enjoying the fire. Bedrooms were cozy and comfortable. The surrounding area was great fo exploring. Property was close to town too. 」

「The house was everything as listed. We got snow prior to arrival and during our stay and nothing was plowed or shoveled before arrival. We could not locate a shovel anywhere to shovel the steps. Everything else was wonderful. 」

「A relaxing winter escape to Sprucewood! Awesome to see the north woods snow covered and back in business again. Great base for snowmobile trails with groomers out in force. Couldn’t ask for better family time in such a comfortable and well stocked place. Sprucewood never disappoints and we are so happy to be able to enjoy it in the summer and winter! Only complaint is it goes by too fast.」

「The house layout was perfect for our needs and the location was prime. After skiing at Brule it was cozy warming up next to the fireplace. This is one of the cleanest places we have stayed. Everything was wonderful about this house and have nothing bad to say about the home or property. It was easy entering and leaving from texted instructions. We did have a big snow storm and had to reach out to the management company and responses seemed a little odd (maybe it was an AI generated response)?...

「Great property! Perfect for the four of us. Everything was new and clean and well decorated. Went skiing at Pine Mountain and Ski Brule. Property manager was very communicative. 」

「Beautiful home on Catfish Lake. House is nicely decorated. Advertised to have 3 bathrooms, one was currently missing a toilet. The only concern was the 80 stairs from the house to the lake that we didn’t know about prior to our arrival. Property management was very responsive to questions. 」

「Very nice relaxing place. Host Kelly was great with quick responds to assist us. River traffic is No Wake area. Very calming. We are of group of senior ladies enjoying a weekend get away to Eagle River for many years. This was our first stay at this property. We used the fire pit both nights we stayed. Other than a few details/ minor maintenance issues, we well were pleased. 」
