“This was my 1st time to Lake Chautauqua and Rachel's cottage was such a great welcome for us to the area! It was exactly as listed and is fully stocked with all of the essentials, including bug spray which I didn't even think to bring. Super clean and comfortable. I traveled with my older parents and goldendoodle and everyone was very comfortable in the house. The back deck and view is what sold me on this property and even though it was gray and cloudy while we were there, the view was still……

“The Chateau at Lookout was lovely, with interesting décor and a nice view. We spent much of our time relaxing in the Adirondack chairs out on the partially shaded lawn overlooking the lake. The kitchen is clean, functional, and well-equipped, although there is no oven (which we didn’t need). But there was a nice large toaster oven that a medium sized cast iron skillet can fit inside. That worked well. The tap is well water and tastes good. One bedroom has plenty of storage, the other not so……
