“Room and grounds lovely. Plenty of parking. Restaurant and breakfast chaotic. A member of staff arrived in her PJ's to open up for Breakfast 20 mins late. Evening meal, obviously not enough staff - delays in food and limited choice, as only 1 person in the kitchen.”

“Adequate overnight stop off the afternoon sailing from Portsmouth. You can see the hotel as soon as you exit the dock. Late check in available if the ferry is late. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Quite a basic room, no tea or coffee in the room or bottles of water. Room was small with 2 twin beds. Beds very comfortable and shower good. Breakfast was a good assortment, although there were many comments overheard from the guests if you didn't get breakfast early enough all the hot food was……

“Our room was nice and quaint. Our balcony was a wonderful touch. . Breakfast had a nice array of French favorites. Several food options near by for dinner. Very friendly service, highly recommended!”

“We had a very nice stay there. The room was very clean, the location was excellent and the hosts were very nice. Only FYI, there are no elevators, so you have to walk up a few flights of stairs with your luggage, which might be a problem for some people. Overall I recommend it.”

“We booked a sea view room, nice view. Pretty good location although still need an hour drive to Ohama Beach. We came in Sep so there weren't too many people, but heard the beach is packed of people during the summer. Breakfast varieties are adequate.”

“Short but pleasant stay. A great location if you have a car as there’s easy parking. About a 30 minute walk into town centre. Lots of great restaurants, art galleries and antique stores in Honfluer.”

“Un séjour ressourçant en pleine nature ! Nous avons beaucoup aimé cette cabane indépendante, idéalement située au calme, juste à côté des falaises des Vaches Noires, de la forêt et de Houlgate. C'est l'endroit parfait pour déconnecter. Un tout petit point d'amélioration pour que ce soit parfait : il faudrait simplement resserrer proprement le bouton de la chasse d'eau et revoir le flexible de la douche.”

“Super small toilet where you can hardly sit. The host is not very nice and comes over as if he has an attitude problem. Breakfast is served only from 9 am until 9.45 am. That's a bad joke. ”
