I wish we would have had more time to spend there but we were just passing through and only stayed one night. Whether you want to do your best impersonation of Henry David Thoreau or get back to basics with the kids you cannot go wrong with this property. The owner is a really nice guy as well. ”

“This property is beautiful and the house is wonderful. It is very important that anyone who stays here is aware of the steepness of the driveway! My car could not make it up. I had read the reviews that warned me and I just thought they were over reacting. They were not. I had to haul my stuff in from half way up because my car could not make it any farther up. If you have kids or are traveling with anyone with a disability, make sure you have a good four wheel drive! That being said, it……

“It is an amazing little house on a beautiful property! I say "little," but my family of five were extremely comfortable. Jill made sure we were welcomed in good southern fashion, too! The only thing we REALLY didn't like about the property was that our trip was so short and busy we didn't get to stay as much as we'd have liked! If you can make the one bathroom work (and we did just fine), and want a true getaway, we would highly recommend making this hidden gem!”

Everything was tidy and clean. Having most of our camping supplies, we were over prepared. Once we got settled in for the night, it was all we needed. Waking up in a forest but only a few miles from civilization was a plus.Could not recommend more! It was lovely.”
