“We cannot recommend this property and the wonderful people highly enough!! From the moment we arrived everyone treated us exceptionally. The information, helpfulness and care they all took to ensure our honeymoon stay was perfect was endless. The room was immaculate, building gorgeous, view impeccable. We had to leave early in the day due to the train strikes, the team supported us with takeaway breakfast as we left. From start to finish it was above and beyond. We cannot thank everyone enough……

“Great small hotel. Breakfast every morning overlooking the lake was wonderful. The primary staff who was there was Alice and she was helpful and friendly. A couple things to note is this is about a 15 minute walk into town and 20 minutes to the train. If you have a lot of luggage, consider a taxi, the staff will arrange a taxi, just do that ahead of time. Getting from town to town was easy via the ferry. Great spot to relax after a packed tour of other areas in Italy. The only negative thing I……

“The room was very clean. It was close to the train station, but it was also close to the promenade and ferry. You cannot hear any trains whatsoever. This is not a hotel, we were promised to be contacted one week before check in about its details, however, 3 days before check in nobody contacted us. for us, visiting from different country, in the season where no hotels were available, that was stressful enough. I sent a message via Expedia and was told that someone would contact us shortly. All……

“Beautiful apartment. Very well stocked with extra pillows, blankets and towels. Love the spa in the bedroom. The private backyard was our favorite feature. Every morning, we sat out back, listening to the birds and enjoying the amazing view. The digital guest book is very user-friendly and answers all your questions about how to use the different features in the house, places to go and see, restaurants, etc. A couple of things to keep in mind. There’s no staff on site. Everything is done……

“We chose to spend a night here for our honeymoon. The hotel provides a very convenient—and free—shuttle service, which is incredibly thoughtful given that Varenna is a town nestled on a hillside. They can pick you up and drop off anytime from either the train station or the ferry pier ! The location is also perfect—right across from the church and just a short walk to the romantic lakeside path. Upon arrival, the staff greeted us with warm hospitality and pleasantly surprised us with a room……
