Hollywood beach 2 week stay

Review in 3 parts: the great, the OK and the mediocre. Great: unit is spacious one bedroom, living area with den area, with high ceilings, on 4th floor of south tower. Floor to ceiling windows in living area and bedroom allow for ocean view in the distance on the left, with sunrise, and intercoastal view with sunset on the right side. Loved the location 3 minutes from beach front and Broadwalk. Roof top pool and bar area was most enjoyable. Check in was easy and went smoothly. Ricardo and Lucy at Costa front desk were most helpful, pleasant and professional. All staff customer oriented. OK: Decor could be enhanced, with plant and blanket throw (e.g. as shown in pictures) to give place a warmer feel. Stove, oven & fridge worked well. Coffee maker, toaster and microwave could be enhanced to newer upgraded models. Mediocre: Cleanliness was not up to my standards. Got my own Mr. Clean and Lysol wipes to bring it up to snuff given pandemic times. Unit could use a paint job as there were many scuff marks from previous guests on the wall. Bedroom king mattress was most unsatisfactory to us. It was very soft, felt old and of poor quality. Lesson learned going forward to ask about type and quality of mattress before committing. Overall still had a very enjoyable stay with sun and sand in beautiful Hollywood beach.
