This is a large 2 bedroom, 2 bath direct ocean facing condo on a high floor at the Tides on Hollywood Beach. Enjoy breathtaking ocean views from your bedroom floor to ceiling window and private terrace. Here you will enjoy the exclusive residents' beach club and pool. And the unrivaled amenities and aesthetics afforded by more than $20 million in renovations. Stroll the beach and then swim laps in the secluded heated pool, taking in the exotic landscaping and spectacular views of the ocean. Or head for the state-of-the-art fitness center. Enjoy movies in the top of the art movie theater or relax in the sophisticated social and pool room. Close to the exciting Hollywood Beach boardwalk where you will find many outdoor cafes, restaurants and shops. There is live entertainment at the bandstand on the boardwalk on weekends. Just a 15 minute drive to South Beach or 10 minutes to Ft. Lauderdale, 15 minutes to the Aventura Mall and 40 minutes to Sawgrass Mills.

CHECK WITH PROPERTY MANAGER FOR CURRENT PARKING RATES

A $20.00 REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT FOR THE PARKING PASS WILL BE COLLECTED AT CHECK IN.  (Retrieve your deposit refund the day prior to departure if you will be leaving before 9:00AM.) 

The Tides will charge guests $30 per fob at check in. Fobs are small electronic devices used to unlock the doors to the common areas. You will be required to purchase at least one fob for every two members of your party 16 years or older upon arrival.   They will also give you wristbands to be worn for access to the pool area.   

THE BUILDING HAS IMPOSED SIGNIFICANT HANDLING FEES FOR PACKAGES RECEIVED FOR GUESTS. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING ALL HANDLING CHARGES FOR YOUR PACKAGES.  WE CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR GUARANTEEING RATES CHARGED.

CONTRACT: A CONTRACT WILL BE SENT TO YOU UPON BOOKING FOR YOU TO COMPLETE AND SIGN

Guests must provide government issued IDs, which include the guest’s name, current address, photo and date of birth for all guests18 years or older.

Guests must complete and sign the electronic contract sent to them after booking listing the names of all occupants

I have stayed at The Tides in various apartments perhaps ten times in the last five years. This unit is one of the best ever. The apartment is well furnished and maintained, and the view is spectacular. Communication with the owner was excellant. I don't always need a second bedroom, but the next time I do, this will be my first chioce.

Overall great vrbo for our family. The place was spacious and exactly like it stated. The check in process and time frame is kind of a pain but otherwise enjoyed our stay. Plenty of beach supplies in the closet and the host was helpful with tips. Beautiful view and everything was clean. You do have to pay an additional fee for a key fob to get around the complex which isn’t a big deal but wanted to share

If it weren’t for the ridiculous check in, parking fees (100 for 3 days), illegal charges once I left (they charged me for a deposit on a parking tag I didn’t even receive and for receiving packages I didn’t order), the snobby property manager, the pool closing at 7pm, the key fobs, the broken elevators, the having to park down the block despite paying for parking…I’d give this place 4/5 stars. But I can’t…

This condo is very spacious, clean and has everything you need for an amazing stay. The beds are comfortable, showers great, and TP/tissues were soft and wonderful. Towels and beach chairs were great. The waves are mild and the ocean inviting. The pool was great and its a well maintained property close to many restaurants, the broadwalk of Hollywood Beach and a Walmart. Would definitely recommend and stay again. The only issue we had was not having anywhere to store our luggage until we could get into the condo. We did not get a rental car. Uber is very convenient and inexpensive.

We loved being right on the beach and the pool was great. The check-in process had a long line to get fobs and pricey for the fobs which is not retuned to you. The location is good with free and low cost transportation for local sightseeing. There were plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas in the unit

This condo is right on the beach and within walking distance of so many things. The views are breath-taking, the unit was very clean and super spacious, and the property owners were very communicative. You're provided with beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels and toys for the kiddos if you have them. It was very nice not having to rent these things. The check-in can be hairy since you have to go to the sister building next door first during business hours. Since the rental is in a building that also houses residential units, there are many rules to follow. Read all the information you're provided carefully! Use the side entrance with luggage, do not come through the lobby with luggage, use the correct elevator, etc. I would absolutely stay here again and can't wait for my next trip to Florida!

Our family enjoyed our week long trip in late December. Everything was nice, and you cannot beat the beach location. 15-20 min walk to the main Hollywood Broadwalk, which wasn't too bad and taking the 2 per person "Ride Circuit" is a great way to get around (no rental car needed). 30 for a key fob is a ripoff, and having to wear red wristbands the entire time so we could use the pool was a minor annoyance.I would suggest the owners put a little money into the property. Fix some of the water damage to the doors and ceilings, upgrade the bedroom TVs (one has TIVO - which came out 25 years ago), replace the mattress in the Master bedroom. Not a ton of , but these would go a long way in my opinion.

Beautiful views, not close enough to walk to broad walk. Great pool. The check in process was not easy due to the host putting in wrong dates on stay. The closet our kids played in due to unfortunate weather caved in and got our clothes wet so we had to pay to rewash everything and have maintenance in and out for a day, and then the air conditioner in master suite was enabled. Other then checking in and closet tiles falling in, the place was good

Die Wohnung ist schön runtergerockt, die Bilder stammen wohl aus besseren Zeiten. Alles ist alt und nicht ganz sauber. Komische Flecken auf den Badetüchern, komische Krümel auf dem Boden und in der Badewanne. Buchungsprozess unnötig kompliziert, genauso wie Check in Prozess. Das Management braucht Wochen um eine Anfrage im Vorfeld zu beantworten, und wenn du da bist, schicken sie dir zig Nachrichten und verlangen Rückmeldung - ob du schon da bist, ob du schon ausgecheckt hast etc. Mehrere Erinnerungen daß Check Out um Punkt zehn ist. Völlig unnötig. Das einzige was schön ist, ist der Ausblick auf das Ozean.
