Hotel manager Francisco was fantastic! Went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Loved the location , the pool and palm trees made it a very private relaxing oasis. Francisco made us feel at home and was always available. We will definitely be back now that we’ve found this little gem!!!!

Just floored!!

Francisco was a wonderful manager. He tried his best to fix the problems that we encountered during our stay. We booked the luxury suite. We quickly realized that there wasn’t a coffee pot. Francisco was quick to provide us with one along with a few filters. The first night the convertible single to queen bed broke when the first person got on it. So one couple ended up sleeping on mattresses on the floor. The following night the king size bed broke in the middle of the night. Now leaving both couples sleeping on floor mattresses. I know that upon departure the next day Francisco had already followed up with the owners to fix the problems. The suite, complex and community are in a perfect location to walk to LBTS. The pool area is very inviting with a grill, plenty of chairs, and music over the outdoor stereo. All other tenants were very friendly and considerate of others. I’m hoping that the owners do what is right for their customers. This definitely wasn’t worth almost $300/night when we practically slept on the floor. Francisco was Fantastic!!

$150 a night afforded us a night's stay in a "non smoking " room that smelled like a crowd had just finished smoking. Begins had burned cigarette marks and a few stains. The bath tub was dirty and stained like I've never ever seen. The bed was very comfortable and the area was very nice and friendly.

As a long time resident of Pompano Beach. I’ve gone to the Tropicaire for 20 years for “staycations” and long holiday weekends. My husband and I wanted a weekend getaway, as life has been a little crazy since my father’s passing 2 months ago. Check in was quick and easy. We dropped out things off and walked to the food districts for drinks and dinner. Got back and got ready for bed...the bed was rock hard, After an hour of squeaky discomfort, I check the mattress...which was an old boxspring with a mattress cover posing as a mattress on a platform. You could feel the metal coils through the covering. We couldn’t call anyone bc there is no central phone line and the office closes at 6 PM. So we stayed, horribly uncomfortable on a boxspring and hot bc the ac unit was located in an area where the air couldn’t reach the common area. No sleep, all sweat and now a bad back, we tell the property manager (a very nice man, by the way) about our problem. He didn’t even seem surprised, but put us up in one of their apartments. The beds are (more) comfortable; the rest of the unit is not. Tiny, used loveseat with semi-clean cover in front of the tv, an IKEA chair and a table & chair set off to the side. Went to check the bathroom to find that the window, which is in the shower unit, is permanently open due to the crank mechanism being ripped from the wall. At that point, our romantic getaway was done. We ate the charge for the second night, packed up and went home. Will never be back.

The location is fabulous. My family has gone there for years. Unfortunately, it needs several improvements to the rooms. It has gone downhill cosmetically over the years. A little bit rundown and in need of repairs.

Needs a lot of love and care.

I`ve stayed at Tropical 10 years ago it was great, but now the place needs a face lift all over, the pics you see on web site are not the same when you get there. Renovation is to begin shortly with mayor renovation, can wait and see how its going to look like after completed. While I was there I met the owner from Canada he seems to be a great guy. The manager of the motel is Francisco he try to keep everyone satisfied, the cleaning lady was also nice. If everything is said about the renovation I think this would be the place, and I would go because you are close to everything( grocery, beach, night events walking distance.

Nice little place

Nice clean room. No problems other than on the Hotels.com website it stated they have an airport shuttle from FLL airport. They do not. Cab ride was $50, Lyft was $25.

Close to the beach, great walking area. Pet friendly. Amenties not up to par, or what was listed . Pool heater did not work. Not every unit even had a coffee maker. If something did not work the manager took it out of another empty unit. The roof leaked majorly and had to move the next day to another unit. Will not be going back.

Vi var 12 pers som stannade i några nätter. Helt ok motel, nära till mataffärer, strand och restauranger. Har varit med ett tag och är lite slitet, men funkade utan problem. In-/utcheckning var smidig.

Bad check in

check in was supposed to be at 3pm the owner didn't even realize he had another guest coming so didn't have a room ready so we had to wait until 4pm fo get our room. How do you not know you have guests coming. Very disappointing. Also the toliet was dirty
