「This little spot of heaven left me with a lot of memories. It was so peaceful and and quiet. The camper faced the woods, and there was also a nice well kept trail to walk thru the woods. Inside the camper was warm and inviting and very clean. I was ably to grill steaks the first 2 nights. My goat even gave me some garden fresh veggies. My 2 Australian Shepherds has plenty of room to run and play off leash. I grilled my steaks over the firepit with mushrooms, tomatoes, cakes, and onion. This...

「My wife and I had a wonderful experience at this campsite. Everything included made the trip stress free and we got to fully focus on fun and relaxation. Great campfire, lights, trash can, grill everything included. And the four stars on cleanness is only because of the grill but I’m sure that’s difficult to maintain outside overall 10/10 for real . 」

「The directions to the booking were accurate and easy to follow. The view, the neighborhood and the environment was peaceful and serene. There was enough land to accommodate a large body of people. We were captivated by the expanse and breath of the property and wish we could have access to the pond.
The bedrooms were hot and we were unable to get comfortable because we were not allowed to adjust the temperature.
The refrigerator’s ice maker and water dispenser did not work. There was no ice...

「We really enjoyed our stay at the Restful Retreat! We loved how they had everything labeled so you don’t have to go looking for things. The bed was really comfortable, my husband said it was his best nights sleep he’s had in a year! Kim sent us messages checking in on us to see if there’s anything we needed. It was convenient to Winthrop University and within walking distance to a nice Veterens Garden. It’s also close to restaurants, grocery store. We would stay here again!」

「The house was comfortable and clean. We loved being walking distance to the sports center and local restaurants. Even though, we did a lot of cooking. The train going by at 11:00 on our first night there was unpleasant. The rest of the weekend, the train only went by during the day. Otherwise, the neighborhood’s very quiet. Our dog enjoyed being able to wander around the fenced-in backyard instead of being on a leash the whole time. I would definitely stay there again.」

Wish the pool was bigger but we were so glad it was indoors as we had rain the whole time we stayed there. My husband and I loved the happy hour they had with free drinks and food. And the complimentary breakfast was great too. Staff was very friendly.」

「The breakfast buffet was adequate but poorly set up and planned. The pool area was very tight and had many local workers who came to stay there and use the pool with families. No seating really and very small towels and old which did not match the updates and nice room we stayed in. Great area to go for a walk around the Cawtawba River and for some shopping and great for access to Charlotte also. 」
