Simply Incredible

My entire family absolutely loved staying at this condo. Convenient, first floor location, directly next to the pool looking down on it. Beautifully maintained condo with all you could want and more. It was the rare place where all three of my kids could sleep comfortably in their own beds. The screened-in back porch also has a spectacular view. There are many fantastic restaurants within walking distance, as well as the beach being a short walk right across the street. This place is a gem, and I couldn't recommended it more to anyone considering staying here. You will not regret it.

Wonderful Property

Captains Bay 102 was a treat. It’s on the south end of the island so it was quiet with a lot less traffic than the north end, which we preferred. It’s only a short walk across the street to the beach. The pool was very enjoyable and clean. The condo is a little dated, poor water pressure, shower heads rusted, etc. but when we needed maintenance to fix the garbage disposal, they were very quick to respond. There were plenty of towels including beach towels. There are two beach chairs, an umbrella, and beach toys which was nice. There is a wagon to transport all those items to the beach but the wheels are cracked and was not worth using. One thing that would make it much more convenient would be a keypad entry. Keeping up with the keys was a little bit of a pain but nothing major. There were plenty of kitchen items, pots and pans, coffee pot, etcetera. It has a large washer and dryer which was so nice. The only thing I rated 4 stars was cleanliness. It was mostly clean but there were some stains on the sheets in the master bedroom and the coffee pot had to be heavily scrubbed before I used it. Overall we had a really nice stay and would not hesitate to stay again.

Beautiful Condo

Loved the place! Everything that is listed in the description is true. We really enjoyed the close walk to the beach. The only little issue we had was the parking area was under construction and where we were supposed to park had pallets and bricks in the spot. When we called the property management company they didn't know anything about it and couldn't point us in a direction on where to park. Luckily we ran into an owner and she was kind enough to help us.

Comfortable

This is not our first stay at Captain’s Bay, we like the location...short, easy walk to the beach. This year the “residents” were not as welcoming as in the past...with the COVID restrictions on the pool, they were NOT happy to see our crew walk into the pool area. It was an overall older crowd this year and we felt like they did not want to share the pool with the kids...even though they were not actually swimming, just standing in the shallow or sitting in the chairs.
