Lovely condo with ocean views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was construction going on in the condo above us but they didn't get started until mid morning so it wasn't unbearable. The condo was clean and well stocked with what we needed. The beach chairs and umbrella rental being included with the unit was awesome. Perfect for our family trip!

Great condo for a groups of kids/teens

The unit is on the second floor which was easy to access the beach from. The management company was easy to access which we appreciated. Well decorated.

This condo was exactly what it said it would be! Location was perfect, views were amazing. The bunk room was awesome for the kids we brought, ages 14-18. The walk to the beach was short. This was our first time in Florida and we will for sure be back and would stay in this condo again. The beach was laid back and great for families.

Holidays at the beach

Our three bedroom condo fit the 7 of us so well. The bunk room offered kids individual beds. The kitchen was well stocked (be aware there are no spices or oils, so bring your own if you want to cook). There were plenty of linens. Being in an end unit was also nice. The beach and pool were Amazing. We loved it! Parking was easy. Access to restaurants was easy. I loved this location.

Excellent family vacay stay

Only reason for the 4 star rating was that the water was turned off due to plumbing repairs to the entire building. Listing states iron was available, but was not working. Other than things mentioned, this is an excellent family beachfront rental.

Amazing property

The management staff was quick and very understanding with text messages. The condo is a great size for the family. The property is nicely decorated and very clean. Everything we needed was provided. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. Access to the beach and pool was convenient. Upside not mentioned is the little gated area by the front door that was a great place to store the wagon, paddle board, skim board, and beach toys. There were not any spices/salt/pepper so make sure you buy or bring your own. We had a great time and would highly recommend the condo to friends and family.

Gorgeous place

This room is absolutely beautiful. We loved every minute of our trip. The only thing I want to let the owner know is that in the front room with the bunkbeds, there is water that was coming up through the floor. All my kids stuff got soaked, if they left anything on the floor. It was worse when it rained. My husband said there is probably a leak somewhere in that room. Just wanted to let them know before it gets worse. Other than that, our stay was wonderful. We love island princess and go every year for spring break. The kitchen had everything that we needed. Thanks for an awesome vacation condo :)

Little issues

I could never enjoy the patio because a chain smoker was on the floor above. The property manager researched this and you are allowed to smoke on your patio. I just happened to get a smoker. The mattress in the master was shot. I slept on the twin bed. Coffee maker did not work. Sink faucet needs replaced. Not enough silverware I had to fix the dishwasher rack The flapper valve in the toilet had to be replaced which I diagnosed because toilet was always running. Other than that it was great.

Island Princess #200

We enjoyed our stay in the unit, but were disappointed on our arrival to find the dishes in the dishwasher were not clean and we found some cups in the cabinets were not clean. there were a few mechanical issues which were reported and eventually fixed. We had to request that the floors be cleaned, which was taken care of by the cleaning crew on the day we requested. There was an issue with water leaking on the floor every time we opened the door to the freezer side of the fridge. This was not addressed during our stay. We noticed that there is a problem with the icemaker being able to dispense ice but we did not report this. This should be looked at though so it's not a problem for future renters. All in all we enjoyed our stay and will use Island Princess in our future stays in Fort Walton.

Family Beach Trip

The place was nice and clean. We had everything we needed. Very spacious and loved having the bunk room to fit the kids in. We were also all the way at the end of the hall in our own little area. Would definitely book this place again. 10/10 recommend.

Family vacation

The view and condo were amazing our only complaints are about the building. The elevator wasn’t working multiple times through the week, our water was shut off for 6 hours without warning in the middle of the afternoon and we saw multiple roaches around the garbage room. The outlets in the master bedroom only had one plug each that worked as well.

Great place

This is a great place. Condo was clean beds were comfortable and we love the distances to the beach. Overall we had a very good time. A few small things upon arrival the floor in one room had some water leak issues. Communication was great with management but we had to deal with that half of our vacation people coming in and out trying to get it fixed. They did bring us more towels which was really nice. Also in combination with them fixing the problem they had a lot of maintenance checks someone also came to check balcony and smoke detectors. It wouldn’t have been bad but with all combined it got a little annoying. Also it would have been nice if condo had some family games especially on rainy days.

Great Location, Small Things Missing

The location and the place were perfect for a beach location. White fluffy sand was spectacular. Liked that there were 2 beach chairs and an umbrella available. Had issues with getting emails due to booking “thing” which caused issues with what we were supposed to bring with vs. what we expected to be provided. Had to argue to get extra toilet paper rolls (only had partial rolls to begin with) - was told that they only provide “bare necessities. You get two dishwasher tablets and that’s all for a week. For what you pay, the bare necessities is borderline ridiculous. No salt and pepper? Never been at a place that didn’t at least have that. Was never provided the gate code to get to the beach from the pool and back. Had to get it from others at the place. This was a common issue based on people we ran into. Brady, who runs the umbrellas and chairs, was awesome. We would go back again even with the issues because of the overall location and beach.
