Short weekend getaway

Overall, had a great time at Fort Walton Beach. The water was clear, the weather for October was mostly warm, and the crowd here is super friendly. Waterscape was good but the location of the unit was truely the farthest away from the beach and if I had a choice, would pick something closer. Thankfully we had a wagon with us to pull our stuff to the beach in back, otherwise it would have been very difficult. There were 6 of us and the bunk room was better than what my teens expected. Bring extra trash bags, as there was only the one.

Furthest from Pool & Beach — AC was broken 2/6nights {80+ degrees in the unit at night!!}

This is our second summer coming to Waterscapes, pool and beach are nice - but this specific unit was trash. The sliding glass doors didn’t lock properly, the AC was out 2 of our 6nights. This unit is FURTHEST from the beach and pool - it’s literally in the parking garage. Our experience last year in a different unit was much better. I would recommend always reading reviews and do NOT book this unit. To the owner: there really should be concessions made since we paid for a week, and the unit was not fully functional- with no working AC. Even after they came to ‘fix’ the AC, it never cooled below 75-76. Disappointing.

Amazingly Beautiful!!

The rooms are Amazingly clean and comfortable. The atmosphere is so relaxing and so comfortable. My Family was able to be together and swim and enjoy ourselves as a Family.

We loved the pool&beach resort has beautiful grounds the unit was clean just a couple of things the stove top needed some new drip pans and the area rug was not very clean we did not understand why there were so many construction projects going on at a busy time of year other than that we were very comfortable here have already booked for next year front lobby staff excellent thank you for answering all my questions see you next year

Nice unit

It was a very nice unit but it's the farthest away from pool and walking to the beach. I think price should be lowered considering those facts.

The condo was nice and clean. Had everything we needed for the 8 of us to be comfortable.

It was very clean and stocked with things we needed. A couple things need to be checked on. The dryer squealed when drying which was very loud, probably just needs to be lubricated. The air did not work great. Stayed about 75 degrees most of the time ever though we put it a few degrees lower. Other than that, it was a nice get away from the Devi station back home from Hurricane Ida.

Memorial day week 2021

We had such a wonderful time, and absolutely loved this condo. The view on the balcony was one thing I was dreading with it not being directly ocean front, but it surprised me. If we were in our room at all we were on the balcony people watching, and loved it. You could see water from the harbor side all the way over to a small alley view of the ocean front from different angles on the porch. The condo is in the very back of the u shape design, which works to your advantage because we could watch fireworks from the pier (on the balcony y) and the harbor (simply step outside the condo on the rooftop parking). Other perks of the location is parking, and convenience of loading/unloading and use of the far end elevator which we found less busy. The pantry had ample shelving to store food for the week, and the kitchen was adequately stocked for cooking. It was nice having a small closet to put our chairs and floats in as well in the utility closet (which also had a broomstick and vacuum if you tracked in too much sand). The deluxe bathrooms for both rooms were a great touch, with a spare half bath in the living area. We also enjoyed being within short walking distance of Alvin's Island, waffle house, AJs, and Stewbys just to name a few. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend this unit.

Very good location, close to the convention center and restaurants. Food at the restaurants, excellent. Condo right on the beach. Walk through the pool area and your on the beach. Loved the free movie rentals, nice to sit and watch a movie in the evenings with family. Would highly recommend. Will be back next year!

Excellent condo

Very clean rooms with the convenience of onsite water splash park, pool, and beach services. All needed amenities were provided. Check in and check out were easy and stres free. We have stayed here 5 times and love it!

Our vacation

Everything was every nice ! It looked better in person than on the website. The master bathroom was very nice! When booking the gave us the last month gate code but they gladly fixed it. I love the pool area bc you really didn’t even have to go to the beach if you didn’t want to. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS STAY! And if I’m every in Florida I would book again! ♥️

Uncomfortable beds, far away from beach

The condo overall was nice, but could use a little updating. The guest bed was super squeaky with any little movement and bunks were not very comfortable either. My kids didn’t get great rest. My daughter even moved to the couch one night. Because of COVID, the units were supposedly even more thoroughly cleaned, however, there were little hairs in the bathroom, including the shower, dried contacts on the floor and some dishes in the kitchen were not clean. Just a note, it stated cleaning products would be available in the unit, but nothing to clean surfaces, just FYI for those booking. There is 1 pack of dishwasher detergent, 1 pack of laundry detergent, and a small bottle of dish soap. There were bars of hand soap, but no shampoo as I thought I saw Vacasa would provide. We washed all dishes before using them after finding several that were dirty. The property was nice, but this unit could not be further from the beach. I didn’t realize that when booking. But if you want a quiet unit, this would be a good choice. We didn’t have noise from the hall or pool. The view is of the parking lot of the hotel next door, but you can see the bay and the beach, just no view of the Waterscape property. Again, not a deal breaker, just FYI if that’s important to someone. A quiet unit was nice. Something definitely needs to be done about the squeaky bed. There also wasn’t an HDMI cable for the DVD player in the master so we borrowed that from the TV in the den which took away the sound for that TV. Would be nice to have a DVD player in the living room. We all piled on the master bed for a movie. Had to unplug the cable box from the outlet to plug in the DVD player. A simple plug extension would help allow for more items to be plugged in and make it more user friendly. Overall enjoyed our stay, just a few adjustments could make it even better.

Awesome!!

We enjoyed our stay at waterscape room A635. The room was well decorated and had all we needed. We have always stayed beach front with a beach view and I was afraid I would be disappointed with the view from this condo but it was actually neat having a different view. We could see the bay, the town, the ocean.... it was nice!! The only thing is the beds were not very comfortable but other than that we enjoyed our stay!!
