The hotel itself seemed amazing, until checkout day. There was some kind of fire. No one informed any of the guests. We just saw the lights flashing inside when enjoying the last hour by the pool. Waited until the last minute before we had to check out and walked up the stairs to the 5th floor in the dark, packed our stuff, and carried it down 5 flights of stairs. When I asked about any type of compensation, the on duty manager told me I should’ve asked for help walking down the stairs because someone would have helped us. I just looked at her and left. They had been texting us messages the entire stay making sure everything was fine, but when a fire occurs… you could hear a pin drop. Missed opportunity IMO, especially for the price. You would think the manager on duty would have been better prepared than that. And there has been zero communication since then. Not staying there again
