Our 1st night there (Sat)we noticed small flies in the air flying in the kit/laundry area. We thought they were fruit flies left from the last renter who left spoiled fruit? On Sun., they seemed to be worse. On Mon., I texted the number I was provided by Vacasa Guest Services about the fly problem and the ice machine not working. Their answer back to me was that they would inform the local team. On Tues.,I went to the office in the morning and the woman at desk said she would inform local team. By afternoon, I hadn’t heard anything so I texted again and their answer was a ticket was created, still in progress and give it some more time. On Wed. afternoon, Orkin knocked on our door. I just happened to be in room refreshing my drink from pool. He said flies were drain flies, not fruit flies and that we needed a plumber. He could not help us. He said he would give his recommendation to local management. By this time, they were flying everywhere. Liv.room, bath,etc. I texted Vacasa again and updated them Wed . Thur. afternoon, I still hadn’t heard from local management. I texted again. They were everywhere. Cooking was a disaster. They were getting in our food we were trying to fix. They would gather on our drinks. They were in the bottom of our freezer. After my text Thurs, worker came, used bleach but they only cont to be worse.Manager tried to call me Thur night but I was at pool. They got even worse Fri night. My family and grandchildren’s vacation was ruined bc of it.
