Amazing views from the condo of sunset over the gulf! Condo was very clean! We enjoyed the beach chairs and umbrella as well as the pool! Wonderful restaurants within walking distance The host communication was very good with clear messages well in advance!

Very nice condo. It accommodated our family of 6 comfortably. The outdoor furniture was the best as we love to sit on the balcony a lot. We love that a beach set of chairs and umbrella were available to us courtesy of the condo. Would definitely recommend

Beautiful!

This was our second time staying at Gulf Dunes and the first at this property. We loved it. We had grandparents, parent, a teenager, and two kids. We had enough space for all of us.We loved the balcony. We saw dolphins multiple times while we were enjoying the view. The beach is great. It's not overly crowded. Empty seats were always available when we arrived.

Overall Great, but be Prepared for Rules

Fantastic space for the price. Be prepared for a novel of strict rules that may scare you to the extent of not being able to relax (ie. If you stink up the place or lay on top of the bed comforters you may get a $350 fine).

Labor Day Week

Overall, our stay was great! It was myself, my husband, and our 4 children ages 4-13. One of the reasons we chose this specific condo was for the number of beds. Each kiddo had their own. The front room where there are twin bunks is not a true bedroom in that it doesn’t have a closet. It’s tiny. It doesn’t have a ceiling fan and gets poor circulation. We had to turn the AC way down at night to get that room cool. That room also doesn’t have curtains. The other bedrooms do. We had to hang blankets over the blinds so it wouldn’t be so bright. It faces the front walk way too so there were lights on all night. The master bedroom doesn’t get great circulation either but it was better than the tiny front room. The light under the microwave doesn’t turn off. It will dim but you can’t turn it completely off. There does need to be some updating. We noticed several loose floor tiles throughout. Living room furniture is older and feels worn and compressed. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware necessary to prepare meals. There’s even a blender! The managers provided plenty of dishwasher and laundry soaps, as well as trash bags. We stayed for 10 days and didn’t have to purchase our own. Views from the balcony were amazing! Dolphins daily!

Perfect for us

Matched up perfectly as advertised. We are very satisfied with the condo size and room layout. Easy access to the beach and perfect access to Destin for excellect dining. Looking forward to doing it again.

wonderful location, amazing view, and roomy accommodation

Stayed for a week. Short walk to the beach. Beach was amazing. Boardwalk was within walking distance, beach was white sand and soft. Outdoor showers. Close to many restaurants and shops. The apartment had a fridge, dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer, 2 showers and tubs, plus there was a garbage shoot nearby. There were also TVs in each room with Netflix/Hule etc, and Wifi. The view from the apartment looked directly onto the beach and ocean. The only small downside was that there was still some sand left over in the shower from the previous guests. Also I would think it would be helpful to include a hand rail in both the shower units - it was very slippery when taking showers. Please also, could you provide a few more garbage bags. We had to buy more garbage bags.

LOVED the condo!

This condo is BEAUTIFUL and even better in pictures! The condo was very clean and well maintained!! I would absolutely stay here again. My ONLY complaint would be the master bed was not very comfortable.

Beautiful View!

The checkin process was easy - you never talk to anyone. They just send you the door codes. There is plenty of parking. The view of the ocean from the living room is incredible! We saw dolphins while we were on the balcony having morning coffee. I would stay here again.

Very nice vacation

We had a great stay at this condo. The view could not have been better. There was a pier down the beach we could walk out on. We saw lots of dolphins and the Manta Rays jumping out of the water and belly flopping kept us laughing all week. The condo was clean, beds were comfortable and showers were great. There were plenty of places to eat near by and shopping was convenient also. We really had a great time. To the owner- there was a limited supply of teaspoons and the couch looks dirty and could be cleaned.

White Sandy Beaches

Location was convenient to doing options. Condo was very nice and comfortable. Everything needed to access the unit was provided via email so no front desk check in required. The sliding glass door in the living room was missing the outside handle so you had to push it open with your hand when coming in from the balcony. Probably not an issue for most adults but younger children might have a hard time or be at greater risk for mashing their fingers. One of the plastic Adirondack chairs busted when my husband, who isn't a very large man, sat in it. I called the number provided for Sunset Rentals and had to leave a message. I never heard back from anyone. Hopefully, it was replaced before the next guests arrived.

Great location, Beautiful Scenery

This property had a great location and was very relaxing. The unit itself was nothing fancy but had everything needed to have an enjoyable stay. For the most part the property was quiet and guests respectful of others. A few things could be addressed to make it a better stay. As far as the property- The elevators are extremely slow and the grilling area could use some attention. The unit- the room with the bunk beds was EXTREMELY SMALL. I don’t know how it’s considered a bedroom. The unit could def use some updating in the way of furniture, linens etc. Nonetheless our family enjoyed our stay.

Great location right on the beach! Beautiful condo!

My family and I had a fabulous time on our stay at unit 609. Beautiful decor, comfortable and everything you need for your stay. The view from the balcony was mesmerizing, with plenty of chairs for our crew to enjoy. We will definitely be back if they will have us! (We were a family of 7)

Great property for our family

This condo met the needs of our family very well. The bunk room is perfect for young kids as it is separated from the living area and has a small TV. The other bedrooms are large enough with comfortable king beds. The laundry room will also fit a pack & play for those traveling with infants! The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dishes and utensils. The Gulf Dunes property was well maintained and we didn't have any issues with loud neighbors or parties. Having only one heated pool did get crowded but expected in early April. My only suggestion is to have a basket with beach toys for kids that everyone can use and leave them when returning home.
