“I had The Nut Cabin all to myself-very comfortable with all the needed essentials. The hike up to the cabin from the parking lot was a challenge but the owners have a well maintained and fully lite gravel pathway that gave my legs a workout every day💗 I highly recommend this fabulous cabin -it was a wonderful weekend! I look forward to staying there again!”

“Had a fantastic stay in this cozy cabin! Pet friendly and great yard for potty breaks. Bed was comfortable and cabin was updated and clean. The only negative was the noise from upstairs cabin as other renters have mentioned. Other than that it was a perfect stay!”

“It was really nice. It felt like being in the middle of nowhere the closest Dollar General and Walmart is about 30 minutes away but the quietness was worth it. The only downside was no Verizon phone service but the upside no one called me. Beautiful and relaxing place to stay.”

“We loved this property! There was a lot of room including 3 full bathrooms and two balconies. The downstairs balcony was screened in. There are a lot of stairs so if you have anyone who doesn’t do well with stairs this may not be the property for you. There was a cute fire pit, but we didn’t get to use it due to rain. We did use the hot tub and it was nice. If you have light sleepers beware that the floors make a lot of noise when someone walks across them. The property was super clean and easy……

“My wife & I loved this cozy little cabin! It was perfect for us. It's over 100 years but you can tell it's been kept with love! We loved the rustic feel and floors. The home was clean and I loved the back porch area. I sat out there for hours just staring at the lake & mountain view. The gas station is in walking distance and there is a dollar general about 3 miles away for a quick store run. Getting to Boone is only a 10 minute drive. But most of time was spent in the cabin and we loved every……

“This cabin was perfect! Had everything we needed and the location was perfect, a 10 min drive to downtown Blowing Rock. The bed was comfortable, the water was hot. We enjoyed the firepit, the view and so many stars. It was peaceful and secluded. Close to many restaurants. Our favorite was sitting on the back porch (which is now covered), drinking our coffee in the morning. Would def stay again!!”

“The cabin was so nice! Great views, very clean, well stocked. It was a bit farther than I realized but that’s on me. We were never able to find the cut through road. We did stop at the “private property” sign and turned around on our way in. I looked at the reviews and saw that we could use that road. It’s a big time saver.”

“Quiet, peaceful, clean, and cozy! If that sounds appealing, then you’ve found the right place. This cabin feels completely tucked away, but you are only a very short drive to all Boone has to offer. As some other commenters have mentioned, the driveway is a bit intimidating, but slow and steady will get you there without any issues. We will definitely book this cabin again for our next mountain getaway!”

“Overall I'm glad we picked this hotel. The staff at the hotel were super nice! The floor in our room was a bit squeaky, but we barely heard anything from the floor above us. The pool was a very comfortable temperature and the sauna felt good. They had a heavy snow early on the day we checked in, so we were glad to have a lower level to park in!”
