"I really loved my stay here. The house was beautifully decorated, well stocked, and very clean. I loved the cozy beds and pillows. This is a sweet, teeny town. The host was considerate and I loved the gift of her home-raised honey. I would definitely not hesitate to stay again. "

"This was a great vacation getaway. The cabin has all the comforts of home in the middle of nowhere (or the middle of everywhere, depending on how you look at it). This is a great base for exploring the John Day country and is very close to the Sheep Rock unit of the Fossil Beds National Monument. "

"Our host, Amber, was very helpful in all things. She provided us with information on many of the sites in the John Day Fossil Beds Monument. Although there wasn't much we needed as the cabin was well furnished, she made herself available if we needed anything! Lovely place to settle for a week!"
