"This is a cute and roomy western style home in the country on a blacktop. It was very quiet and scenic every evening and morning. We were gone during the day enjoying the sites nearby. We even saw a hummingbird feeding her baby at the tiny nest on the patio cover. The house was decorated very inviting and we had plenty of space. The air conditioners were on the bedrooms but we closed the house during the day and fans kept it cool inside. Our dog also loved her stay."

"Beautiful house, fantastic location and very responsive host! My husband, myself and our 24 year old daughter were visiting the Cortez area, mostly to see Mesa Verde. I thought we'd just stay one or two nights in the area, but once I found this property, we booked 5 nights! The hiking out the back gate is amazing (just go early if you're there in the summer - that sun is intense) and the drive to Mesa Verde is short. We enjoyed sitting on both porches birdwatching and just gazing at the scenery. The winery practically across the street is a bonus - delicious wines and gorgeous setting. Highly recommend!"

"The kitchen had everything needed and was very clean and organized. One question we had was promptly answered, bedrooms were all well-equipped. The porch and large fenced yard provided a great dog friendly yard, as well as a pleasant view to enjoy on the comfy porch swing. "

"the entire ranch experience was first class. The hosts, Garry and Ming were super helpful, welcoming and made us feel at home. So many pluses including the steaks and lamb available for grilling. The Wagstaff Cabin was stunning. Clearly one of the best places we have stayed"
