「De ontvangst was raar want er was niemand in het hotel. We waren te vroeg, rond 11 uur en we wouden ons bagage binnen zetten en er was niemand om ons te helpen, de deur ging niet open. Dus zijn we gaan rondlopen en proberen te bellen naar het hotel maar er was nog steeds niemand. Het ontbijt was verschrikkelijk pover, voor 10 € pp. We kregen elk een croissant en een klein broodje, dat was het. We vroegen nog een croissant en dat was niet mogelijk. Verschrikkelijk dus en met honger van tafel.」

「The Hotel on the edge of the town so quieter but easy access to restaurants and bars without having to use the car. The owner and staff extremely helpful, Good breakfast probably the best place to stay on the island.」

「This is a great hotel to stay at for trips into La Rochelle and the nearby little town of Perigny also has good bars and boulangeries. If you have a dog there is a great little park for walks. La personne a l'accueil s'est arrangée pour qu'elles soient non seulement voisines mais également communicantes, ce qui a grandement facilité notre organisation avec 2 enfants, encore merci. Le petit déjeuner est copieux avec des produits de qualité. Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir dans cet établissement.」
