We stayed at this motel and it was lovely. Beautiful view, stunning sunset, close to everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Laundry facilities on site which was great. Highly recommend.

Amazing views! Great accommodation!! Lovely chickens and rooster that come to say hello in the afternoon. Definitely a better stay than in Franz Joseph.

The room was spacious with a nice bathroom and kitchen area. What I really appreciated was the small table and chairs outside of the room with gorgeous view of mountains. Motel was within 5-10 minutes of places I wanted to visit as well as village center.

We loved the clean plush bedding and very clean room.
The staff were very helpful and the view from the verandah was stunning.
We had chickensout the back and we loved them.

There were no staff on arrival but soon arrived at reception once the bell was rung. Room was clean, only a small fridge but had sufficient cooking and equipment for the hob and microwave to provide a small meal. Highly recommend the walkable eatery Betsey Jane, just down the road.

The room was spacious, clean and the bed was large and comfortable.
The kitchenette was suitable for cooking and the bathroom was spacious and clean.
The views from the rear verandah of the snow capped mountains were awesome.

Wow. The view was just like the picture. Loved it. And so close to everything. Just 5km to Lake Matheson, to the glacier walk start, 1km from the township. Peaceful, affordable. The room was well appointed. Shower lovely. We can’t fault it. Stay here, don’t stay in Franz Joseph.
