“We were attracted online to this property by its immaculate presentation and when we got there we certainly weren't disappointed. Fresh, comfortable and well appointed this cottage is perfectly located over looking the Orowaiti Lagoon. There is plenty of bird life right in front of you, pied oyster catchers, stilts and paradise ducks to name a few, the view is always changing. Our host met and greet us but left us to it during our stay. There is so much to do and see in the Buller region, this……

“The short steep stair access and low ceilings are certainly real but we (80 and 73) managed just fine. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the location, spaciousness and kitchen outfitting were great...which made for a very nice 3 night stay--much of which was wet and cold! Thank you”

“This was an ideal home to both hang out in and use as a base for all the amazing riches that Punakaiki has to offer. It was clean and comfortable, the views were incredible, and the communication and organisation was great.”

“Photos are misleading as it makes it look like you are in open spaces with scenic views and nothing around... in reality you are close to a busy road and houses on every side. The water pressure was absolutely terrible and I didn't receive instructions on how to find my destination, codes, keys etc... I had to follow it up myself which was stressful.”
