“Affordable, comfortable, very nice and rustic log hotel”

“The staff was very unfriendly. Amenities scarce but if you’re trying to save money and stay on the cheap the motel was ok. The room was clean and the bedding comfortable. The room had a strong deodorizer smell that made my husband nauseated. We had to air the room for that reason. Skip the continental breakfast. Stale donuts and terrible coffee. ”

“The rooms were old, no heat. Cobwebs in corners. Broken shower drain. Pillows and towels looked old and stained. Second day no one cleaned or provided new towels--had to ask. Asked for heat and they brought portable electric heater. Nice people, but not aware of our society's ways.”

“Arrived at hotel later than the original check in time. We were instantly greeted by Fehim, the manager. He was super friendly and helpful and he offered for us to be able to check out the following day a bit later than the check out time originally. The hotel office as well as the room was very clean. The new management definitely seem to be trying to clean the place up quite a bit!! The rooms are being remodeled from what i last remember!! Had a very delightful stay!! Thank you Fehim for……

“This is a cozy little get away place that we enjoyed very much. Loved the kitchenette for morning coffee and late evening suppers of leftovers warmed in the microwave. We also enjoyed afternoon tea there each day of our stay. Evenings were spent in the lovely front room in front of the television watching retro tv programs...a favorite. The bedrooms and bath were very generous as well. The location is close to downtown and very walkable. We would enjoy staying there again. Thanks!!”
