“First ignore my rating on skining. I was not there to ski and it was not ski season. VRBO forced a rating of the skiing experience to procede with the review. This is a great property as noted in all the other reviews. A beautiful relaxing location. The cottage was well stocked including a complimentary box of pancake mix and Vermont maple syrup. Communication from the owner was excellent. On a rainy day he texted indoor activites in the area. This is the place we will stay if in the area……

“We booked this place as a bed and breakfast. No breakfast. No staff on site. No information was provided at the hotel to help us find things in the area. We were not informed that this was a "self check in hotel" until after the cancellation date. Calling the Heritage office (off site) for assistance was useless as the staff could not answer our questions. The common areas were sparsely furnished and shabby. “Angel's Rest is sooo peaceful. We had a delicious and super healthy breakfast in the breakfast nook, surrounded by lovely plants and a small fountain, looking out over the rolling hills of Western Mass. The fall colors were nice. ”
