“Great people at the desk! Clean rooms. The hotel itself was spotless in the lobby.”

“I hate to ever leave a negative review, especially when the woman running the place alone was so kind. We didn’t even stay the whole night, left at 3 am. It was visibly dirty. The room was horrible, wallpaper falling off, carpet as old as time. The bathtub and faucets leaked. It bothered my asthma and we had to leave. I am only writing this to help someone else, not to complain.”

“I was really impressed with the patience of the receptionist. She was with a client who just was a needy one and she gently guided him through the process. When it was our turn, she was gracious and so efficient! The breakfast had a really great assortment and we appreciated the friendly breakfast staff.”

“I reserved a two queen bed suite when I arrived I was told their queen suites where all taken in fact, they told me that all the rooms that had two queen beds were all booked. I told him that I had reservations for over a month that I couldn’t have just a king bed. I had my daughter and granddaughter staying with me. after 15 minutes I was put in a room with two queen beds no mirror in the bathroom no towels. I’m not even sure the room was clean before we got in there other than the beds were……

“We arrived to find that the hotel had no power due to a storm that came through earlier in the day. We were told the power went out around 12:30 pm, and we arrived at 5:30 pm. The two staff behind the desk had no idea about restoration time or what a refund would look like. They were not knowledgeable on how to handle customers who didn't want to stay. It didn't appear that either was a manager, so I wondered in a situation like this, "why isn't the manager here?". No AC, no lights, just……

“We stayed at the cottage. Living room, full kitchen and half bth on first floor while bed room and full bath on top. Very clean and well prepared. The outside garden is beautiful. Main building where main office locat we is very clean and nice to visit while we have breakfast there. Hidden gem!”
