“We didn’t actually stay, the place was a little odd, and the guests I was with were a bit uncomfortable. There were a lot of spider eggs under the furniture and my mother saw numerous bugs. The padlock the get inside was either broken or dead so we were instructed to go through the other entrance of the house which was another rental, but they kept a spare key to our unit (the basement) in the upstairs rental which kind of scared some of us. Overall, the basement itself was spacious and cute……

“Do not book this property. Total scam. Host should not be allowed to advertise on VRBO. Arrived at property to find people living in it, and had been for last two months according to next door neighbor. Very difficult to get in touch with host. Almost at stage of contacting non emergency police just to get documentation. Spouse was able to get representative of VRBO on phone who tried to email host to no avail. VRBO did refund our money, but really had no explanation as to how this could happen.……
