Explore Frome from our historic Weaver's Cottage—a perfectly located self-catering retreat on the edge of famous Catherine Hill. Steps away from shops and eateries, it offers comfort for your southwest adventures. Relax in the cosy living room, enjoy alfresco dining in the courtyard, or retreat to the charming bedroom with historical views. A blend of style and convenience makes this cottage an ideal base for exploring Frome's vibrant town and scenic surroundings.
The Space:
Escape to this charming Weaver's Cottage—an ideal retreat for two. The ground floor comprises an open plan lounge/dining space with a sofa, pouffe, Smart TV and dining area for two. Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, fridge (with freezer compartment) and washer/dryer. Plus, private courtyard, with dining and wall lights.
Upstairs, a double master bedroom with a Nature Mat mattress, hotel quality linens and fluffy bath sheets. The bathroom has a bath/shower and heated towel rail. We provide Faith in Nature toiletries for guests to use during their stay.
Situated in Sheppard’s Barton, one of Frome's most historic streets, this self-catering My Boutique Stay property is perfect for those seeking a base in the heart of Frome, combining comfort and style for an unforgettable stay.
While there's no on-site parking, nearby streets and car parks offer convenient spaces, details are provided upon booking.
Guest Access:
Parking: The property is situated at the end of a cobbled pedestrianised street where you can unload. However, you will need to park on one of the roads surrounding the property or in the large paid car park by M&S Foods.
Just outside the property are steps down to Catherine Hill with a solid handrail.
Please also note the toilet/bathroom at the property is situated on the first floor, so this property may not be suitable for those with mobility issues."

It's best to pre book a taxi to and from the train station. Call Shawn at Smile Taxis to arrange.
Bus
Excellent bus links connect to neighboring towns such as Glastonbury and Wells. Frequent busses to Bath and Trowbridge. The bus stops are along Vallis Road and the two main bus stops in town outside Boots."

Please note parking in the heart of Frome old town is limited. The roads are narrow and there will be a short walk from the best paid parking by M&S Foods. You can unload to the front of the property via Sheppards Barton. Once parked you are in one of Frome's most sought-after locations.
We do have quiet hours between 8am and 10pm in respect of our neighbours.
Check in is at 4pm and checkout is at 10am.
