“Superb pub and rooms steeped in local history - Robert Plant started his career here playing blues guitar aged 15 in the upstairs blues club (sadly not there anymore but the history is palpable). The pub is a treasure trove of history, and so well preserved, from the original staircases and ceramic tiling on the walls, to the original bar. My room was just sheer excellence. Comfy bed, every amenity laid on, crispy linen and a boiling hot shower. Sadly the pub no longer serves food other than……

“Very friendly staff, easy location with enough parking. Very comfortable beds and shower. To get better i would like it if there where 2 chairs in the room in stead of 1, and there was no fridge. The room was clean and enough tea and coffee. There is a Tesco and Costa coffee and other places on walking distance.”

“Good breakfast. Staff were friendly. Bed comfortable, bedding clean with protectors but bathroom tired, laminate floor in need of replacing. Could you hear upstairs walking round & plumbing.”

“DO NOT STAY,awful hotel its falling apart ,needs knocking down,no pillows on bed,wasnt even a double seemed smaller,no hot water,mould around the hotel,furniture old and very tired,smell hotel awful,ceiling coming down,they even gave us off milk for hot drinks”

“We enjoyed our recent stay in a ground floor, twin bed, en-suite room. There was handy parking, a friendly welcome, a lovely clean and comfortable room, and delicious breakfast. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and welcoming, the room was warm and cosy, and we would be happy to stay again.”

“During checkout, the alarm in the room would not stop ringing. We wanted to extend our stay by one more night, and we had already informed Quinn that he would add an extra night for us. However, Nicolas did not even wait a few minutes before making a new online reservation for another night. The customer service was catastrophic.”
