「Good instructions for check in. Clean property with comfortable beds. A few surprises from listing. We were thrilled to see a property with a fireplace but upon arrival, we found a sticker on it that said we could not use. Pretty disappointing feature that should’ve been clearly stated in listing. Kitchen glasses, coffee mugs & bath towels insufficient for 6 people. Just one tall glass, 3 wine, 4 short, 4 coffee mugs. A garage door opener would be nice. 「This is the cutest little house in the perfect location! So many adorable shops and restaurant/bars within walking distance. Home is very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. Communication with the host was clear and timely. Highly recommend!」

「The host was great. Everything was near perfect. Completely above expectations, with only a few minor drawbacks. But the place has some many strengths to it, that it most likely will make anyone extremely happy. Anyone who likes to feel at home should get this place. 」

「This was in a great place and the owner communicated a lot; however the pictures are very curated and do not accurately reflect the older state of the home. We could not use the kitchen at all and there was lots of muck on the carpets and walls. It was fine for the weekend, but I wish I had a better idea of the condition of the house. 」

「We were so looking forward to our stay at this home. However, upon arrival, we noticed that the basement had flooded. There were a few fans running around the room, so someone was aware of this problem and did not address it, or notify us. It took us 4 hours on the phone to finally get the problem addressed and resolved with VRBO customer service. The host did finally contact us several hours later after we had left the home and found a hotel. Apparently there was an issue with a broken phone?...

「This is a nice older home on a beautiful property in central Peoria. We lived in Peoria for 30 years and came back for a family wedding. We arrived after dark and had difficulty finding the property as the driveway is shared with another home or you can come in from the street behind. Also, all of the smoke alarms have been removed. 」
