“Really adorable place! My husband, son (5yrs), and I stayed here when visiting Cooperstown (about 40 mins away). We enjoyed dinner and the used bookstore in Cobleskill and had plenty of space to play our favorite board games at. This place was very easy to find, conveniently located (from LI we drove here Friday, made Cooperstown a day trip Sat, and drove back on Sunday), super clean, well renovated and decorated and the host was very responsive. “Extremely clean, host was very quick to reply to my questions and even started a campfire for us. My husband fished while I enjoyed the wine we were left by the host. The “outdoor shower was amazing and the restroom was very clean. They thought of so many little things to help make our overnight comfortable …and the Golf course restaurant was outstanding- laid back atmosphere and you can wear shirts and t shirt. Every thing was near by went for train ride A boat tour on a lake in Cooperstown Howes Caverns and other places. My friends and I really enjoyed it we are thinking of coming back in the future. “Lovely cabin close to family!. Beautiful location. Adorable kitchen. Love all the decor and large windows. Thermostat wasn’t working upstairs, but the provided blankets were very warm. I’m allergic to most laundry detergent so we always bring our own bedding/pillowcases/towels etc, but it was great to have the backup blankets to use over our comforter. “When I booked only 3 reviews were available two were 10’s the other a 2. I wondered if the 2 was a curmudgeon and if the 10’s were friends. Not a lot of other choices so I took the chance.
